Brooks Koepka heads into the final round of a major with the lead for the second time this year, as he sits atop the 2023 PGA Championship leaderboard at 6-under entering Sunday. He was in a similar spot at the Masters, leading by two strokes after 54 holes. He fell short at Augusta, and he'll have to contend with a loaded group of Sunday PGA Championship contenders this time around. Viktor Hovland and Corey Conners are both a shot off the lead at 5-under. Bryson DeChambeau (-3), Justin Rose (-2), Scottie Scheffler (-2) and Rory McIlroy (-1) are all within five shots of the lead.

The 2023 PGA Championship tee times for Sunday begin at 7:50 a.m. ET, while the leaders will get going in the early afternoon at the Oak Hill East course. The latest 2023 PGA Championship odds from Caesars Sportsbook give Koepka about a 50/50 shot to hold on for the win, as he's the -105 favorite (risk $105 to win $100). Hovland (7-2), Conners (11-2), Scheffler (9-1) and DeChambeau (9-1) are the others going off with single-digit odds in the 2023 PGA Championship field. With so many experienced players atop the 2023 PGA Championship leaderboard, you'll want to check out the PGA Tour predictions from the proven computer model at SportsLine before locking in your 2023 PGA Championship picks for the final round.

SportsLine's proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $8,800 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

McClure's model predicted Jon Rahm would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. And at the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner.

In addition, the model included Nick Hardy and Davis Riley in its best bets to win the 2023 Zurich Classic. That bet hit at +4500, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned over $1,100. McClure's best bets also included Jason Day winning outright at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, even though he hadn't won a PGA Tour event since 2018.

This same model has also nailed a whopping nine majors entering the weekend. Anyone who has followed it has seen massive returns.

Now that the 2023 PGA Championship is heading for its conclusion, SportsLine simulated the final round 10,000 times, and the results were surprising. Head to SportsLine now to see the projected 2023 PGA Championship leaderboard.

Top 2023 PGA Championship predictions

One huge shocker the model is calling for at the PGA Championship 2023: Conners (11-2), a two-time PGA winner who is just one shot off the lead, stumbles down the stretch and doesn't even crack the top three. The Canadian won the Valero Texas Open last month, making him a two-time champion at that event. He's also shown flashes of elite play at the Masters, finishing 10th or better in three of his last four starts at Augusta.

However, he's struggled overall at the PGA Championship, never finishing better than 17th. He's also missed the cut in all four of his U.S. Open appearances, so his overall major track record doesn't inspire a lot of confidence about his ability to finish on Sunday.

Conners ranks 32nd on the PGA Tour this season in average Round 4 score, which falls below several of the other top contenders he's battling on Sunday. The model projects that he'll slide down the Sunday PGA Championship leaderboard, making him a golfer to avoid in 2023 PGA Championship bets for the final round. See who the model is backing at SportsLine
