Tom Hoge and Jordan Spieth will go head-to-head once again in the Golden State at the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which tees off Thursday at a trio of courses on the Monterey Peninsula. The first tee times are set for 11:30 a.m. ET. Spieth, who won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2017, was the runner-up behind Hoge at last year's event by just two strokes. The Presidents Cup winner should be hungry for a victory after missing the cut after recently missing the cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii, while Hoge will look to be the first player since Dustin Johnson (2009-10) to win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in consecutive years.
Matthew Fitzpatrick is currently listed as the 10-1 favorite in the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds at Caesars Sportsbook, with Spieth and Viktor Hovland are listed right behind him at 11-1. Other notable names on the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field include Seamus Powers (16-1) and 2021 Pro-Am runner-up Maverick McNealy (18-1). Defending championHoge is currently listed at 22-1. SportsLine's proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $8,600 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

The model was also all over Jon Rahm's (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the weekend, but the model still projected him as the winner.

Top 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am predictions
One major surprise the model is calling for at the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Hoge, the defending champion and one of the favorites at 17-1, stumbles this week and doesn't even crack the top-five. Hoge secured his first and only victory on the PGA Tour with an impressive performance in 2022, making birdies on three of his final five holes to beat Spieth by two strokes.
However, Hoge has been extremely inconsistent around the green this season. In fact, Hoge enters this week's event ranked 197th in strokes gained: around-the-green (-.502). In addition, he's finished T-32 or worse in two consecutive starts after recording a third-place finish at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. He's not a strong pick to win it all and there are far better values in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2023 field.
Another surprise: Justin Rose, a 24-1 longshot, makes a strong run at the title. He has a much better chance to win it all than his odds imply, so he's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday.
One hiccup that the Englishman has run into throughout his career has been his accuracy, but he has looked much more spot on with two top-20 finishes to start off the year, including a tie for 18th in his last outing at the Farmers Insurance Open. Rose is ranked 11th in driving accuracy at 68.95% which should give him an edge with each round of the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am being played on a different course. He also ranks high in birdie average (4.61) and scoring average (69.794), making him a longshot with a chance at topping the leaderboard at the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
