Campbell entered Sunday's Game 6 loss to the Golden Knights in the third period after Stuart Skinner was pulled. Campbell stopped all four shots he faced, but the Oilers still lost 5-2, ending their season.

Campbell didn't get a single start in the postseason, but he entered four games in relief. He played well in those contests, never allowing more than a single goal. Sunday's effort wasn't enough to help the Oilers stave off elimination, but it left the Edmonton faithful wondering why coach Jay Woodcroft didn't turn to Campbell sooner.
