Draft Scouting Report

Rating: 70.95 (Roster depth)
Pro Comparison: Chris Moore
Summary

Nick Nash is a tall, wiry big-slot receiver with impressive leaping ability and a knack for using his frame effectively. He attacks the ball with authority, showcasing strong, reliable hands that make contested catches look effortless. While not overly physical at the catch point, Nash has a solid feel for working back to the football and securing passes in tight coverage.

Despite his angular build, Nash offers surprising YAC value, using lateral quickness and deceptive power to break tackles. He’s not overly shifty but can be tough to bring down in space. His route-running is functional but lacks separation, with slightly labored change-of-direction skills. With average long speed, he won’t consistently win deep but has enough burst to be a reliable possession target. Best suited for a big-slot role, Nash’s size, catch-point skills and YAC ability give him a solid floor, though his upside may be limited due to his age and modest athletic ceiling.
