BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) Jake Blumrick threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns as Stephen F. Austin took control in the second quarter for a 34-7 Southland Conference win over Lamar on Saturday night.

Tamrick Pace hauled in seven passes for 145 yards and one touchdown and Terian Goree caught five for 73 yards and a score.

Kijana Amous rushed 21 times for 111 yards and a touchdown.

SFA (4-5, 4-3) racked up 571 total yards with 31 first downs while limiting Lamar (1-7, 0-6) to 225 yards and 10 first downs.

Lamar's Kirkland Banks hit Andrew Allen on a 6-yard scoring strike to tie the game at 7-7 in the first quarter. The Lumberjacks then scored 27 unanswered points and coasted to the win.

SFA got consecutive wins for the second time this year. They dropped Houston Baptist 27-10 last week. They will face Nicholls (6-2, 5-1) next Saturday.
