Bucknell is 1-9 against Colgate since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Sunday. The Bucknell Bison and the Colgate Raiders are set to clash at 2:00 p.m. ET at Cotterell Court in a Patriot League postseason contest. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bucknell comes in on four and Colgate on three.

Bucknell had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 80-57 win on Thursday. That looming 80-57 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bucknell yet this season.

Noah Williamson was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elvin Edmonds IV, who scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Colgate gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They took down the Crusaders 81-64.

Colgate got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Moffatt out in front who scored 14 points. Moffatt didn't help Colgate's cause all that much against Lehigh last Saturday but the same can't be said for this contest. Braeden Smith was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.

The Bison's win bumped their record up to 14-18. As for the Raiders, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Bucknell is hoping to beat the odds on Sunday, as the experts think they're headed for a loss. They might be worth a quick bet since they've covered the spread the last four times they've played.

Bucknell came up short against Colgate in their previous matchup back in February, falling 62-50. Can Bucknell avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
