Friday features another amazing Sweet 16 slate as the NCAA Tournament continues with action in the South and Midwest Regionals, which include the only No. 1 seeds left standing in the bracket. Alabama and Houston are favored to advance but will face tough challenges against competitors that will try and impose their own style of play.
The Crimson Tide are taking on No. 5 seed San Diego State, a defense-first program that will seek to slow down the pace of the game and make life difficult on Alabama's prolific offense. Conversely, No. 5 seed Miami will try and speed the game up against Houston's grind physical style as the Hurricanes enter with an elite group of guards.
Elsewhere in Sweet 16 action on Friday, No. 15 seed Princeton's unlikely journey through the Big Dance will continue against No. 6 seed Creighton as the Bluejays try and make the Elite Eight for the first time in the modern era. Then, the night's final game pits No. 2 seed Texas against No. 3 seed Xavier in contest between the high-scoring Musketeers and well-rounded Longhorns.
By the end of the night, just eight teams will be left standing in the NCAA Tournament after the field began with 68 squads last week.
