BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) Julien Soumaoro had 16 points in Gardner-Webb's 79-60 win against North Greenville on Monday night.
Soumaoro was 7 of 12 shooting (1 for 3 from 3-point range) for the Runnin' Bulldogs (5-6, Big South Conference). Caleb Robinson added 14 points while going 4 of 8 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 5 for 8 from the line, and he also had eight rebounds. DQ Nicholas shot 5 for 12, including 1 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with 12 points.
Max Topham led the Crusaders in scoring, finishing with 13 points. North Greenville also got 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists from Caleb Williams. John Haddock Rogers also had 11 points.
