Stephenson-Moore scores 22, Stony Brook defeats Bryant 86-75
STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) Tyler Stephenson-Moore scored 22 points as Stony Brook beat Bryant 86-75 on Saturday night.
Stephenson-Moore shot 8 for 11, including 6 for 7 from beyond the arc for the Seawolves (4-5). Jared Frey scored 18 points while going 5 of 9 from the floor, including 5 for 8 from 3-point range, and 3 for 4 from the line, and added five assists. Keenan Fitzmorris had 14 points and was 3 of 8 shooting and 8 of 8 from the free throw line.
The Bulldogs (6-5) were led by Connor Withers, who recorded 32 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Earl Timberlake added 17 points and three steals for Bryant. In addition, Daniel Rivera finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and two steals.
