CONWAY, Ark. (AP) Rashad Williams scored 28 points as UAPB beat Central Arkansas 85-83 on Monday night.

Williams hit a jumper with 11 seconds to play to cap the scoring.

Williams was 8-of-20 shooting, including 5 for 11 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 7 from the line for the Golden Lions (3-1). Lonnell Martin Jr. and Kylen Milton each added 20 points.

Elias Cato led the Bears (1-2) in scoring, finishing with 22 points, two steals and two blocks. Central Arkansas also got 17 points, six rebounds and two blocks from Tucker Anderson. In addition, Javion Guy-King had 15 points and nine rebounds.

Up next for UAPB is a Saturday matchup with Incarnate Word at home, and Central Arkansas visits Vanderbilt on Friday.
