After making the BIG3 playoffs in each of the league's first three seasons, Power missed out on the postseason last year. But the team was fortunate enough to get the No. 1 pick in the 2022 BIG3 draft where they selected former NBA player Glen Rice Jr. The son of the three-time All-Star of the same name, Rice Jr. has already paid dividends for his new team as he ranks among the top five in the league in both points and rebounds. He will lead Power (1-1) into a battle against Enemies (1-1) as part of the Week 3 BIG3 schedule, with the latter being led by 12-year NBA vet Nick Young. You can stream Saturday's action on Paramount+.

Tip off is at 1 p.m. ET from Comerica Center in Dallas. Other games on Saturday include another pair of 1-1 teams duking it out in Killer 3's vs. Tri-State, and the undefeated Triplets (2-0) looking to keep the Ball Hogs (0-2) out of the win column. You can watch Saturday's BIG3 basketball action on CBS and stream it live on Paramount+ with the must-have Premium plan.

BIG3 predictions, picks for Saturday, July 2

Before tuning into Saturday's BIG3 action, you need to see the BIG3 basketball picks from SportsLine expert Ameer Tyree. Tyree joined SportsLine after working as an NBA Fantasy sports and betting specialist at DraftKings and has a history of profitable basketball plays that help bettors find edges.

For Saturday's BIG3 action, Tyree is backing the Triplets to secure the victory over the Ball Hogs. The Triplets rode Joe Johnson to the BIG3 championship in 2019, and after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the pandemic, the team couldn't escape the semifinals in 2021. However, the club reloaded by adding Jeremy Pargo to a squad that already includes his brother, Jannero.

The Pargo brothers are combining to average over 25 points per game, while Johnson's 21.5 PPG ranks third in the BIG3. Meanwhile, the Ball Hogs have just two players averaging in double-figures as the team is looking like the league's worst through the early part of the season. The Ball Hogs rank last in points, last in point differential and second-to-last in points allowed.

One could argue that Johnson and the Pargos, alone, could knock off the Ball Hogs, but the team also has two more former NBA players on its roster in Alonzo Gee and Ryan Hollins. The talent disparity between these two squads has been apparent thus far in the BIG3 season, and it will be even clearer when they share the floor. Tyree has the Triplets winning while Johnson continues to build his case for his third straight MVP award.

"The Triplets sit atop the league standings as one of two undefeated teams and have continued to coast on Joe Johnson's bucket getting," Tyree told SportsLine. "Their do-it-all star isn't the BIG3's current scoring leader, but he's inside the top three in points, rebounds, and steals ahead of Week 3." Stream the game on Paramount+.
