Rantanen supplied a power-play goal in Colorado's 2-1 loss to Seattle in Game 7 on Sunday. Rantanen found the back of the net late in the second period to reduce Seattle's lead to 2-1, but the Avalanche weren't able to complete the comeback bid. The Avalanche were hoping for a longer playoff run after winning the Stanley Cup in 2022, and Rantanen did everything in his power to make that happen. The 26-year-old finished the playoffs with seven goals and 10 points in seven appearances. Avalanche's Mikko Rantanen: Stays hot in Game 6
Rantanen had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win over Seattle in Game 6 on Friday. Rantanen's marker came late in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. He also set up Erik Johnson's game-winning tally midway through the second period. Rantanen has been driving the Avalanche's offense in the first round with six goals and nine points through six contests. Rantanen's goal at 16:45 of the first period was his 50th of the season, but he didn't stop there.
