Colts' Kristian Wilkerson: Finds new opportunity
The Colts claimed Wilkerson off of waivers from the Patriots on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Wilkerson is now slated to compete for one of Indianapolis' roster spots throughout the offseason and into training camp following Thursday's transaction. The 26-year-old wide receiver sustained what turned out to be a season-ending concussion back in August, but given that he's since found a new home, it can be implied that Wilkerson is once again ready to throw the pads back on.

Kristian Wilkerson: Cut loose Wednesday
The Patriots waived Wilkerson (concussion) on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Wilkerson suffered a concussion during training camp and ultimately spent the entire 2022 campaign on injured reserve. The 26-year-old previously played in three games for the Patriots during the 2021 season, recording four catches on eight targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. He'll likely look to find work elsewhere ahead of OTAs.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Suffers concussion
Wilkerson suffered a concussion during practice Wednesday, and he's unlikely to play in Friday's preseason game against the Panthers, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Wilkerson needed to be carted off the field after the hit, but he is feeling "fine" according to Callahan. Assuming Wilkerson does miss Friday's contest, he'll still have one more in-game opportunity to earn a roster spot on Friday, Aug. 26 against the Raiders.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Suffers head injury Wednesday
Wilkerson sustained a head injury during Wednesday's joint practice with the Panthers and may miss some time, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
While serving as a kick returner, Wilkerson was laid out by Carolina safety Kenny Robinson and remained down for a number of minutes before he was carted off the field, according to Zack Cox of NESN.com. Kyed didn't elaborate on the nature of Wilkerson's head injury, but the third-year wide receiver apparently feels "OK." The Patriots' next preseason game arrives this Friday versus the Panthers, so Wilkerson may only have one more chance to make inroads on a roster spot Aug. 26 at Las Vegas.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Carted off field Wednesday
Wilkerson was carted off the field during Wednesday's practice after absorbing a hit on a kickoff, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Wilkerson, who was down on the field for several minutes before being carted to the locker room, was transported away for off-site medical evaluation. The wideout made a splash in the Patriots' preseason opener last Thursday with eight receptions for 99 yards on 12 targets, putting him in a good early position to be included on the season-opening roster. He's been competing for a depth role in a receiver corps headed by DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Meyers and Nelson Agholor.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Catches eight passes Thursday
Wilkerson logged 46 snaps en route to recording eight catches for 99 yards in Thursday's 23-21 preseason loss to the Giants, Mike Dussault of the Patriots' official site reports.
With the Patriots resting starting quarterback Mac Jones and top wideouts DeVante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Meyers and Nelson Agholor, Wilkerson was targeted a team-high 12 times in the contest. Now in his third year with New England after spending the last two seasons primarily on the practice squad, Wilkerson is currently competing with Tyquan Thornton, Tre Nixon, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Josh Hammond for a depth spot on the team's roster. As a 2022 second-round draft pick, Thornton figures to make the cut, but Wilkerson could end up landing a spot if injuries or roster moves thin out the squad's WR ranks as the summer progresses.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Set to compete for roster spot
Wilkerson finished the 2021 regular season with four catches on eight targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns in three games.
All of those catches occurred in Week 17 as Wilkerson -- who spent most of the season on the Patriots' practice squad -- filled in when Nelson Agholor was sidelined by a concussion. The team recently re-signed Wilkerson to a future contract for 2022, which sets the stage for the 25-year-old to compete for a roster spot this coming summer.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Staying in New England
The Patriots signed Wilkerson to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Wilkerson spent most of the 2021 season on the Patriots' practice squad but was elevated to the active roster three times. Across those appearances, he caught four of eight targets for two touchdowns. The 25-year-old will remain with New England heading into the offseason and could attempt to secure a 53-man roster spot ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Unavailable Saturday
Wilkerson (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Saturday in Buffalo.
Wilkerson's elevation from the practice squad Friday was a decent sign that he'd be available to the Patriots in the wild-card round. Instead, he'll be in street clothes while N'Keal Harry and Gunner Olszewski act as the depth wide receivers behind the top trio of Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Joins active roster
The Patriots elevated Wilkerson to their active roster in advance of Saturday's playoff opener against the Bills.
With Nelson Agholor out with a concussion Week 17, Wilkerson stepped into an expanded role in the Patriots' blowout win over the Jaguars, catching four of his eight targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Agholor returned to action for the team's regular-season finale, so Wilkerson wasn't activated ahead of that contest. Heading into playoffs, Wilkerson gives the team added wideout depth behind Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and Agholor, a context that makes him a speculative fantasy option this weekend.

Kristian Wilkerson: Not elevated ahead of Week 18
Wilkerson will not be elevated from the Patriots' practice squad ahead of the team's Week 18 matchup with the Dolphins, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
The wide receiver was active for the second consecutive game last week against the Jaguars, reeling in four catches for 42 yards and two scores in the Patriots' victory over the Jaguars. With Nelson Agholor returning from a concussion, Wilkerson will remain on the practice squad for Week 18.

Kristian Wilkerson: Not elevated for Week 18
Wilkerson wasn't activated from the Patriots' practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Wilkerson had joined the Patriots' active roster in each of the last two games. However, he'll remain on the practice squad in Week 18 since Nelson Agholor has been cleared to play.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Status TBD for Week 18
Wilkerson may not be elevated ahead of Sunday's game at Miami with Nelson Agholor out of the concussion protocol, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
On the other hand, Jakobi Meyers is questionable for Week 18 after managing limited practices Wednesday through Friday. Wilkerson's availability, or lack thereof, will be notable after he made the first marks of his career in the box score this past Sunday against the Jaguars, hauling in four of eight targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots may merely bring him up from the practice squad as insurance in the event Meyers is unable to go this weekend, but in any case Wilkerson has a less clear path to relevance than he did Week 17.

Patriots' Kristian Wilkerson: Flashes with pair of scores
Wilkerson brought in four of eight targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' 50-10 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Just promoted from the practice squad Saturday, Wilkerson came through handsomely with touchdown grabs of six and 20 yards in the second and third quarter, respectively. Wilkerson's promotion came as a result of the absences of Nelson Agholor (concussion) and N'Keal Harry (coach's decision), but given his performance, it's conceivable he garners active status again Week 18 against the Dolphins if either or both players are held out for precautionary reasons before the postseason.
