Rams' Christian Rozeboom: Brought back by L.A.
The Rams re-signed Rozeboom on a one-year deal Friday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
According to Rodrigue, Rozeboom had a couple offers from other teams, but he ultimately chose to return to Los Angeles for his fourth season with the team. The South Dakota State product had the best season of his career in 2023, racking up 79 total tackles and four passes defended, including one interception, in 17 regular-season outings. Expect Rozeboom to have the opportunity to compete for a starting inside linebacker spot once again this offseason.

Rams' Christian Rozeboom: Breaks through in third year
Rozeboom finished the 2023 regular season with 79 tackles (48 solo), four passes defended and an interception over 17 games played.
After two years of very limited usage outside of special teams, the Rams finally promoted Rozeboom to a starter alongside Ernest Jones to replace the massive production of Bobby Wagner, who returned to Seattle in the offseason. Rozeboom produced modest numbers as a starter, in part due to his usage never peaking above 75 percent of the snaps in any game on the year. He's a restricted free agent, and the Rams may give him another shot to prove his capability as a starter if the price is right.

Rams' Christian Rozeboom: Effective in loss
Rozeboom compiled six tackles (four solo) and defended a pass in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers.
Rozeboom's breakout season continues as he's now recorded five or more tackles in all but one game this season. The 26-year-old already has a career high 36 tackles (24 solo) and will look to increase those numbers when the Rams take on the Cowboys this week.

Deep in Rams territory with the Cardinals threatening to tie the game with a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, Rozeboom ran underneath a short pass over the middle intended for Zach Ertz to flip the momentum back toward his squad. He'll look to add onto his breakout season versus Pittsburgh in Week 7.

The linebacker dealt with a neck injury last week but ultimately played in the Rams' loss to the Eagles. Rozeboom will have one more practice to ramp up before Los Angeles' Week 6 game against Arizona on Sunday. The fourth-year pro has 27 tackles in five games, including one start, this season.

Rozeboom was on the field for 32 defensive plays (70 percent), as well as 14 on special teams (50 percent). He primarily played a depth role for the Rams in 2022, so he is taking advantage of his new starting job so far this season.
