Walker missed the Packers' final three games of the regular season due to an ankle injury. He was a limited participant in practice all week, and the 2022 first-round pick has progressed enough in his recovery to play in the Packers' playoff opener. Walker practiced for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 15, logging a week of limited sessions. Despite the Georgia product being sidelined for four games this season, he remains the Packers' leading tackler with 102 stops in just 13 appearances. Packers' Quay Walker: Returns to practice
Walker (ankle) was a limited participant during practice Wednesday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.
Walker had yet to practice since suffering the injury in Week 15, so his return to the field in any capacity is a big step in the right direction. Head coach Matt LaFleur stated Monday that he was optimistic Walker could suit up Sunday against the Eagles, and he may now be on track to do so. Walker's practice status in the days ahead will still be worth monitoring though.

Walker was injured in Week 15 and has been sidelined ever since. He's yet to even practice since the injury. Walker wraps up the regular season with 102 tackles (72 solo), including nine TFLs and 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups. Eric Wilson (100 percent of the defensive snaps) and Edgerrin Cooper (99 percent) played every-down linebacker roles for the Packers last Sunday against the Vikings.

Walker exited with an ankle injury during last Sunday's win against the Seahawks, and he logged three straight DNPs during Week 16 prep. Over 13 appearances this season, the third-year linebacker has already logged over 100 tackles, marking his third straight season doing so. With Walker sidelined, veteran Eric Wilson will likely step up as Green Bay's defensive play caller alongside fellow off-ball linebackers Edgerrin Cooper and Isaiah McDuffie.

Packers' Quay Walker: Records 10 stops in Week 13 win
Walker posted 10 tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Thursday's Thanksgiving Day victory against the Dolphins.
Walker tied for the team lead in stops Thursday, with two of his tackles going for a Miami loss of yardage. One of those was a fourth-down sack of Tua Tagovailoa early in the fourth period that ended a Miami drive that had reached the Packers' one-yard line. Walker has 89 tackles (including 2.5 sacks) on the season, putting him 11 stops away from reaching 100 for the third straight season.
