Ezukanma (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota.

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Sustains eye injury
Ezukanma was a limited participant with an eye injury during practice Thursday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Ezukanma appears to have picked up an eye injury at some point this week after clearing Wednesday's practice report. While the exact nature and severity of this issue are still unclear, it will leave his availability moving forward up in the air. Ezukanma has been a healthy scratch over the first five games of his rookie season.

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Will not play Sunday
Ezukanma (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers.
Ezukanma impressed in camp, but the fourth-round selected rookie will remain inactive again in Week 2. He'll continue to try and work his way up the team's depth chart and suit up in Week 3, when the Dolphins host the Bills.

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Solidified on 53-man roster
Ezukanma was included on Miami's initial 53-man roster Tuesday, while fellow wideouts Preston Williams and Lynn Bowden were both cut.
Ezukanma put together an impressive preseason with the Dolphins, one highlighted by a 114-yard receiving game against the Eagles in the second week. His inclusion on the roster thus comes as no big surprising, and with Williams and Bowden cut loose, Miami is currently only carrying five wideouts heading into Week 1. Trent Sherfield currently looks like Ezukanma's only competition for the No. 4 wideout gig behind Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle (lower body) and Cedrick Wilson.

Dolphins' Erik Ezukanma: Making waves at camp
Ezukanma has impressed coach Mike McDaniel with a strong start to training camp, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
"I've been very encouraged with how (Ezukanma has) handled himself and corrected things," McDaniel said. "The mistakes are changing, they're not the same ones and that's what you want." Ezukanma reportedly has been the most impressive receiver at training camp other than Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and Oyefusi even speculates that the rookie fourth-rounder's emergence has put Preston Williams and Lynn Bowden on the roster bubble. If he can keep up this momentum, Ezukanma could make a push to open the season in the No. 4 wideout role.
