Trammell caught one of two targets for five yards during Thursday's 17-16 victory against the Raiders.
Trammell's second straight game on the Rams' active roster saw his snap count tick up to 12, a three-snap increase over his Week 13 count against the Seahawks. It was another mild performance from the 24-year-old, who currently sits along with Brandon Powell, Lance McCutcheon and Jacob Harris (shoulder) as depth pieces for the Rams behind Ben Skowronek, Tutu Atwell and Van Jefferson.

Rams' Austin Trammell: Makes first NFL catch
Trammell caught one of two passes for eight yards during Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Seahawks.
Trammell had yet to take a snap for the Rams this season prior to Sunday's contest, and he was able to take advantage of his 10 snaps on offense by snagging a pass on Los Angeles' opening drive for his first NFL catch of his career. With the team's wide receiver room decimated by injury -- Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Allen Robinson (foot) are on injured reserve and Lance McCutcheon (shoulder) was sidelined Week 13 -- Trammell may have more opportunities to see the field, especially with a short week before the Raiders come to town in Week 14 for Thursday Night Football.

Rams' Austin Trammell: Earns promotion to active roster
The Rams signed Trammell from their practice squad to the 53-man roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game versus Seattle.
With Allen Robinson (foot) recently having joined Cooper Kupp (ankle) on the injured reserve list, the Rams saw fit to bring Trammell aboard to provide some depth at the wide receiver position. The 24-year-old wideout has yet to play an offensive snap in his NFL career.

Rams' Austin Trammell: Four catches Friday
Trammell secured four of five targets for 46 yards during Friday's 24-20 preseason loss to the Texans, and he returned two punts for seven yards.
Trammell spent the second straight game as second fiddle to breakout wide receiver Lance McCutcheon, but he produced consistent yardage for both John Wolford and Bryce Perkins in a complimentary role and was more effective than fellow receivers Jacob Harris and Landen Akers, who combined for 45 yards and five catches on 10 targets. While Trammell has put together two respectable performances so far in the preseason, he'll likely have to have a monster performance of his own against the Bengals in the final preseason game to leap over McCutcheon in the conversation for a roster spot.

Trammell, who spent most of his rookie year in 2021 on Atlanta's practice squad, managed to make a modest impact with his three catches but was outshined by undrafted free agent Lance McCutcheon's breakout two-touchdown performance. No other wide receiver recorded a reception, however, giving Trammell some positive momentum over fellow roster bubble wideouts Warren Jackson, Landen Akers and J.J. Trammell had joined the Falcons in January but was limited in minicamp with the unknown injury. He then was waived June 16 with a non-football injury designation.
