Bears' Braxton Jones: Seeing first-team reps
With Teven Jenkins (undisclosed) missing practice, Jones has taken most of the first-team reps at left tackle, Alyssa Barbieri of USA Today reports.
It's unclear as to whether Jenkins' absence is injury related or if it's due to a disagreement with the coaching staff. Regardless, Jones has seen most of the work with the starters, though Riley Reiff has been working at both left and right tackle. Should Jenkins miss time, it would seem that Jones will be competing with Reiff to be the starter at left tackle.

Bears' Braxton Jones: Depth for Windy City
The Bears selected Jones in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 168th overall.
Jones started each of the past three seasons at Southern Utah with almost every start coming at left tackle. A two-time first-team All-Big Sky tackle, the 23-year-old has long arms and likely projects as a depth offensive line piece at the NFL level.
