Jontre Kirklin: Let go from practice squad
The Cardinals released Kirklin from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Kirklin was waived by Arizona ahead of the 53-man roster deadline, but he quickly landed a spot on the Cardinals' practice squad. However, he's been let go ahead of Week 1. The 5-foot-11 wideout originally signed with the Cardinals in May as an undrafted free agent out of LSU, where he caught 19 passes for 308 yards and three scores across his final three seasons.

Kirklin landed on the Cardinals' practice squad, Darren Urban of the team's official website reports.
Kirklin failed to earn a spot as a depth receiver on Arizona's 53-man roster during training camp. However, he will now continue practicing with the team. The pass catcher will have the opportunity to get called up to the game-day roster if the team becomes thin at receiver.

Kirklin signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in May, but he couldn't translate his preseason opportunities into a spot on the 53-man roster. The rookie could have a chance of popping back up on the practice squad.
