Cardinals' Byron Murphy: Going to injured reserve
The Cardinals placed Murphy (back) on injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Sidelined since Week 10 with a lingering back issue, Murphy now will miss the rest of the campaign with the Cards out of the playoff picture. The 2019 second-round pick thus will finish his fourth season as a pro with 36 tackles, two fumble recoveries (one returned for a TD) and a half sack in nine appearances. Murphy will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so it remains to be seen where he'll be suiting up next fall.

Cardinals' Byron Murphy: Remains out
Murphy (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Murphy will miss a sixth straight game due to a back injury. Antonio Hamilton (back) is questionable, so if he joins Murphy on the sidelines, Christian Matthew and Jace Whittaker would be candidates for increased roles again.

Cardinals' Byron Murphy: Still out
Murphy (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Murphy didn't practice at all during Week 15 prep, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out for a fifth straight game. Antonio Hamilton (back/illness), who'd been filling in for Murphy, and Marco Wilson (neck) are listed as questionable, so Arizona's secondary may be extremely depleted against Russell Wilson and Denver's offense.
