Hill was one of the Bengals' defensive bright spots this season, recording the second-most tackles and passes defended in a single season of his career. The 29-year-old has now completed the final season of a three-year, $30 million deal signed with the Bengals in 2022, making him an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The Bengals' decision to spend a second-round pick on Kris Jenkins and a third-round pick on McKinnley Jackson in 2024 likely suggests that they are prepared to let Hill walk in free agency. Bengals' B.J. Hill: Logs first sack of season
Hill logged six tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 44-38 loss to Pittsburgh.
It took until Week 13 for Hill to register his first sack of the 2024 regular season, as he got to Russell Wilson for a four-yard loss late in the fourth quarter that forced the Steelers to settle for a 30-yard field goal by Chris Boswell. Through 10 games, Hill has logged 36 tackles (17 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and four passes defensed.

Bengals' B.J. Hill: All set for SNF
Hill (knee) is active for Sunday night's contest against the Chargers.
Hill was limited at practice during the week with a knee injury, but he's now all set to be in his starting role at defensive tackle versus Los Angeles. Hill has compiled 27 total tackles (13 solo) and four passes defensed over eight games in 2024.
