The report suggests Cooke has put the knee injury that kept him sidelined for the last two weeks of 2021 behind him. He finished last season tied for second in the league in net average punt yards (45), and he'll look to provide a similar boost to a rebuilding Jaguars team in 2022.

Cooke signed an extension with the Jaguars on Saturday.
Cooke was drafted in the seventh round by Jacksonville in the 2018 draft and has been solid since. He's averaged 42.9 net yards per punt -- a franchise record -- while also placing 37.3 percent of his punts inside the 20.

Jaguars' Logan Cooke: Won't play Sunday
The Jaguars have ruled Cooke out for Sunday's game against the Ravens due to an illness.
The nature of Cooke's illness isn't clear, but the Jaguars haven't placed him on the reserve/COVID-19 list. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jaguars won't be able to add another punter to the roster this late in the week to replace Cooke, so the team will turn to kicker Aldrick Rosas to pull double duty on special teams Sunday.
