Texans' Andrew Beck: No impact in playoff loss
Beck did not log a carry nor was he targeted in Houston's 34-10 playoff loss to Baltimore on Saturday. He finished the season with five carries for three yards and a touchdown over 15 regular-season games while catching 11 of 13 targets for 55 yards and two receiving TDs.
Beck achieved a rare feat for a fullback, scoring as a runner, receiver and a returner -- his 85-yard kickoff return shifted momentum in a Week 3 win over the Jaguars. He has one year left on a two-year deal and will likely reprise his role as a blocking back that can also fill in at tight end if needed. The major uncertainty is for whom Beck will be blocking. Devin Singletary, who finished the season as the top back, enters unrestricted free agency, while former top back Dameon Pierce fell off the radar in 2023.

Texans' Andrew Beck: Good to go
Beck (back) is available to play in Saturday's matchup with the Ravens, Drew Dougherty of the Texans' official website reports.
Beck drew a questionable designation due to a calf injury in each of the last three weeks. He played through the issue the last two games and will do so again in Baltimore. Look for him to take on his usual role at fullback assuming he avoids any setbacks.

Beck was able to play through a calf issue in the team's wild-card win over the Browns, but he appears to have picked up a back injury in the contest. After opening the week with back-to-back absences at practice, the fullback was able to log a limited session Thursday, raising his chances to go Saturday against the Ravens.

Beck caught both of his targets for six yards, including a one-yard touchdown, in Sunday's 36-22 loss to Cleveland.
The fullback caught one of two garbage-time touchdown throws from Davis Mills in the loss. Beck mostly serves as a blocker but occasionally lines up as a tight end or gets used as a receiver out of the backfield. He has at least one catch in seven of the last eight games.

Texans' Andrew Beck: Rips off 26-yard gain
Beck logged 15 of 56 snaps on offense and hauled in his lone target for a 26-yard reception in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Jets.
Beck's third-quarter reception was the biggest play of the day for a Texans offense that struggled to move the ball even before starting quarterback C.J. Stroud exited the game in the fourth quarter with a concussion. The fullback has now recorded a reception in three straight contests, but he's unlikely to emerge as a higher-priority option in the passing attack in the final four weeks of the regular season regardless of whether Stroud is able to play in any of those contests.

Beck was forced to miss the Texans' 30-27 win over the Bengals in Week 10 while dealing with a shoulder issue, but he now appears healthy heading into Sunday's matchup with Arizona. The fullback has turned four carries into three yards and a score while also catching three passes for 13 yards over eight games this year.
