49ers' Emmanuel Moseley: Undergoes surgey
Moseley had successful surgery Thursday to repair a torn ACL, according to his personal Twitter account.
Moseley's surgery is the first step in a long recovery that should keep him out until at least training camp. The veteran corner's season finished with 22 tackles (18 solo), five passes defensed and an interception in five games.

49ers' Emmanuel Moseley: Goes on IR
The 49ers placed Moseley (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
The transaction was merely a formality with Moseley (knee) scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery to address the torn ACL he suffered in the Week 5 win over the Panthers. Given the timing of his injury, Moseley isn't expected to be ready to go for minicamp or OTAs next spring, but he could have a shot at gaining clearance ahead of training camp.

49ers' Emmanuel Moseley: Set for season-ending surgery
San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed Monday that Moseley will undergo surgery after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during Sunday's win over the Panthers, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Moseley appears set to land on injured reserve as he recovers from impending ACL surgery, though Shanahan did not specify when the cornerback would undergo this procedure. The 25-year-old cornerback played nearly every defensive snap over the first five games of the season. The loss of Moseley will leave San Francisco's secondary even more undermanned after safety Jimmie Ward sustained a fractured hand during Sunday's win, which will sideline him for an unspecified amount of time.

49ers' Emmanuel Moseley: Feared to have sustained torn ACL
Moseley is feared to have sustained a torn left ACL during Sunday's win over Carolina, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Moseley sustained a knee injury while breaking up a pass late in Sunday's victory, and initial tests point toward a significant injury. He was on crutches in the locker room after the game and was unable to put any weight on his left leg. He'll presumably undergo further testing in the coming days to confirm his diagnosis, but he'll be forced to miss significant time if he's ultimately confirmed to have a torn ACL.

49ers' Emmanuel Moseley: Full participant Monday
Moseley (hamstring) participated in the 49ers' full-team sessions during practice Monday, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.
Moseley returned in full to practice Monday for the first time since straining his hamstring during practice Aug. 8. The fifth-year cornerback, who totaled 42 tackles and a career-high 11 passes defended over 11 starts last year, figures to reprise this significant pass-coverage role alongside a new running mate in Charvarius Ward (groin) this regular season.
