Bills' Matt Milano: Gets two more years
Milano signed a two-year contract extension Sunday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Milano's contract will now run through the 2026 season while also creating $6 million in cap space this offseason for the Bills. The veteran linebacker completed arguably his best statistical season in 2022, recording 99 tackles (72 solo), 1.5 sacks, 11 passes defended and three interceptions. He'll remain an integral piece of the Bills defense next season and likely multiple years beyond that now.

Bills' Matt Milano: Moderate effort in win
Milano recorded six tackles (four solo) and one pass defensed during Saturday's 35-13 win over the Bears.
Milano logged a respectable six stops in the Week 16 contest versus Chicago, as he now has 91 total tackles across 14 games played this year. The 223-pound linebacker should once again play a significant role defensively when the Bills square up against Cincinnati next Monday night.

Milano finished with eight tackles (three solo) in Saturday's game against the Bills.
Milano hasn't missed a defensive snap since Week 6, recording 53 tackles (35 solo), 1.5 sacks, one pass defended and one interception over this stretch. The linebacker shouldn't have much difficulty recording 100-plus tackles for the first time since 2019, assuming he's able to remain healthy. He's at 85 with three games left.
