Ravens' Derrick Henry: Dominant in Week 1 win
Henry rushed 24 times for 144 yards and three touchdowns and brought in his only target for 19 yards in the Ravens' 41-23 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Much like he'd done at the expense of the Bills in Week 1 of last season, Henry turned in one of his signature performances right out of the gate, and he struck for his first two touchdowns in the first half from four and 32 yards away. The superstar running back added a three-yard scoring run early in the fourth quarter, and he consistently ripped off chunk gains throughout the afternoon at the expense of an overwhelmed Colts front. Henry's workload won't change under new head coach Jesse Minter if Sunday is any indication, and the perennial Pro Bowl back carries a stellar outlook for a Week 2 home matchup against a Saints defense that the Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs gashed for 156 rushing yards and two touchdowns Sunday.

Ravens' Derrick Henry: No new competition for touches
Henry will head into the Ravens' Week 1 game against the Colts with Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali as his backup options, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Though Keaton Mitchell is now with the Chargers after the Ravens non-tendered him back in the spring, Henry will be supported by a pair of familiar sidekicks. Ali is expected to serve as the Ravens' primary kickoff returner and will see most of his snaps on special teams, while Hill returns to his usual role as the top change-of-pace option. Rookie fifth-round pick Adam Randall (undisclosed) could also factor into the equation at some point this season, though not until at least Week 5 after the Ravens placed him on injured reserve. The makeup of the backfield once again points to the 32-year-old Henry handling a workhorse role in 2026, after he averaged 19.6 touches and exactly one touchdown per game over the prior two regular seasons.
