Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Trade to Kansas City being finalized
The Titans are expected to finalize a trade Wednesday that sends Hopkins (lower leg) to the Chiefs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Per Rapoport, the deal that would send the veteran wideout to Kansas City is for a future fifth-round draft pick that can become a fourth-rounder, with Tennessee expected to absorb some of Hopkins' salary. The looming transaction is set to provide a major boost to a Chiefs wideout corps that has been hit hard by injuries, with Rashee Rice (knee) as well as Hollywood Brown (shoulder) on injured reserve and with JuJu Smith-Schuster currently sidelined by a hamstring issue. Assuming the lower leg soreness that Hopkins was contending with coming out of the Titans' Week 7 loss to the Bills doesn't impact his availability, the 32-year-old could make his debut with Kansas City on Sunday against the Raiders.

Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Dealing with lower leg soreness
Coach Brian Callahan said Monday that Hopkins is dealing with some lower leg soreness following Sunday's loss to the Bills, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hopkins played 60 percent of the offensive snaps against Buffalo, down from his 71 percent mark the previous week, and he finished the day with one catch for minus-2 yards on one target. It was a game to forget for the 32-year-old wideout. His practice reps could be limited some this week ahead of a Week 8 date with the Lions on Sunday.

Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Terrible showing in loss
Hopkins recorded one reception on one target for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Bills.
Per Turron Davenport of ESPN.com, Hopkins played 39 offensive snaps -- a 58 percent clip -- tied for his highest total of the season. However, that didn't lead to improved production, as Hopkins was limited to one target for the second time for the campaign. Mason Rudolph didn't improve Tennessee's offensive efficiency, making Hopkins' potential to produce in the future unclear, as he has managed to top 50 receiving yards only twice in six contests.
