Hopkins, who had misses in each of the last two games, nailed all five his kicks. The field goals were from 51 and 31 yards. Hopkins rebounded from his first FGA miss in Week 3 by driving one through the uprights from 56 yards away, but the extra-point fail was costly. He was wide left early in the fourth quarter, a kick that would have left the Browns one score down instead of two had it been successful. That later proved to be critical when when Deshaun Watson was sacked inside the red zone on fourth down on the team's final possession. It's unlikely the miss will impact Hopkins' job, and the 1-3 Browns have many more pressing issues to address than their placekicker.

Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Dealing with minor injury
Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski said Saturday that Hopkins is dealing with a minor injury but will be ready for the regular season, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
With Hopkins expected to be available Week 1, fantasy managers should read nothing into Cade York handling the kicking chores the first two preseason games. Using York could also be a showcase for a potential trade suitor later this summer.

Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Agrees to three-year extension
Hopkins agreed to terms Monday on a three-year, $15.9 million extension with the Browns, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hopkins' extension ties him to Cleveland through the 2027 campaign and makes him the fifth-highest-paid kicker in the NFL, tied with Ka'imi Fairbairn at $5.3 million annually. Across 15 games last season, the veteran kicker converted 33 of 36 field-goal attempts and 24 of 26 extra-point tries. At 92 percent, Hopkins' field-goal conversion rate in 2023 was the highest of his career.

Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Past hamstring injury
Coach Kevin Stefanski relayed earlier this week that Hopkins has recovered from the hamstring injury he sustained last December, Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com reports.
The injury sidelined Hopkins for the Browns' last two regular-season games, as well as the team's playoff loss to the Texans. Per Petrak, Hopkins wasn't initially present for this week's voluntary OTAs, but once the kicker returns to the mix, he'll be set to lead a kicking corps that also includes Cade York and Lucas Havrisik.

Hopkins (hamstring) finished the season with 123 points over 15 games. He was successful on 33 of 36 field-goal attempts and 24 of 26 extra-point kicks.
Hopkins was a savior to Cleveland's kicking troubles over the previous two seasons and led the NFL in field-goals made at the time of his injury. The hamstring remains a concern entering the offseason. He has one year left on his contract and should return to the Browns if he's ready to compete by training camp.
