Brooks Reed: Works out for Titans
Reed worked out with the Titans on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
With Jadeveon Clowney (knee) and Jayon Brown (elbow) out for the foreseeable future, the Titans could potentially look to the veteran Reed for some assistance. Reed played nine games for the Cardinals last season, recording eight tackles and one sack. Before that, he played eight seasons with the Falcons and Texans.

Cardinals' Brooks Reed: Done for the season
The Cardinals placed Reed (hamstring) on injured reserve Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Reed's campaign now comes to an early end due to a hamstring issue. The 32-year-old veteran played a depth role in all nine games this season, recording one sack and eight tackles (four solo). The Cardinals have promoted Pete Robertson from the practice squad to replace Reed on the 53-man roster.

Reed (hip) was activated from the PUP list Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Reed's minor hip injury didn't keep him sidelined for long, so he should be back at full strength for the remainder of training camp as he provides depth behind Terrell Suggs and Chandler Jones at outside linebacker.

Cardinals' Brooks Reed: Picks up hip injury
Reed (hip) will open the preseason on the physically unable to perform list, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
One of a number of February signings by the Cardinals shortly after the conclusion of the season, Reed and fellow offseason addition Charles Clay will both enter training camp on the PUP-P list due to lingering injuries. The designation allows both veterans to come back to practice at any point once they're healthy, and considering there's been no news about the hip injury prior to this point, it's fair to suggest Reed isn't expected to miss too much time.

Brooks Reed: Time's up in Atlanta
Reed posted Wednesday on his personal Instagram account that he won't be returning to the Falcons in 2019, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Reed has spent the past four years with Atlanta, playing in at least 13 games each season and totaling seven sacks over 60 games. The soon-to-be 32-year-old will likely continue to work in a part-time backup role wherever he lands this offseason.

Falcons' Brooks Reed: Quiet 2018 campaign
Reed registered 24 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble this season for the Falcons.
The veteran Reed failed to put up numbers in 2018 despite playing on a respectable 41.9 percent of Atlanta's defensive snaps. Reed's 24 combined tackles and one sack were his lowest outputs for any season with at least 14 games played, but it's especially concerning that he tailed off at the end of the season with just two tackles over his final four games. He turns 32 in February, and now enters the final frame of his five-year, $22 million deal as a second-string option behind Takkarist McKinley and Vic Beasley at defensive end.

Falcons' Brooks Reed: Restructures contract with Falcons
Reed and the Falcons have come to terms on a revised contract which will keep him in Atlanta for a fourth season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The reduction of Reed's $5.44 million cap hit affords Atlanta some much needed financial wiggle room, with the Falcons entering the offseason as a bottom-10 team in terms of available cap space. The 31-year-old defensive end proved to be more than a rotational player in 2017, starting in 14-plus games for the first time since 2013. In doing so, Reed logged the second-highest sack total (four) of his career, to go along with 41 tackles.

Falcons' Brooks Reed: Compiles four sacks in 2017
Reed produced 41 tackles and four sacks over 16 games in 2017.
Reed yet again proved to be a force in run support, ultimately grading out as Pro Football Focus' 10th-highest-graded 4-3 defensive end in that area. However, he's also proving to be a low-floor, low-upside fantasy option due to his modest production in both the sack and tackle departments. Since it's hard to see that changing in 2018, Reed shouldn't be on the fantasy radar in most formats.

Falcons' Brooks Reed: Sack in win
Reed recorded three tackles, all solo, and a sack in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.
Reed has a seen a drop in defensive snaps over the past few weeks but he was still able to make his presence felt Sunday against the Cowboys. It was his first sack since Week 4, which was also the last game he had at least three solo tackles.
