Acting head coach Joe Vitt has preached that he’ll continue prepping for the 2012 season as if LB Jonathan Vilma and DE Will Smith won’t serve a suspension. Don’t buy it. Vilma (knee) isn’t healthy enough to participate in OTAs right now anyway, so new LBs Curtis Lofton and David Hawthorne should see plenty of time at MLB. Plus, the Saints need pass rush help and will look for Cam Jordan and Junior Galette to shine.
