Injuries are really making things difficult for the Indianapolis Colts, especially at the wide receiver spot. Donnie Avery has yet to debut -- he's expected to Saturday against the Redskins -- and Austin Collie's future is in flux after suffering another concussion.

With an abundance of rookie wide outs eager to make the team, the Colts may need to decide soon whether or not they want to stick with Collie. Coach Chuck Pagano was resolute when discussing the importance of player safety, and Collie is officially listed as day-to-day.

In general, however, there was little movement  from last week. The running back picture is a bit clearer, but still some general murkiness exists.

QB -- In (3): Andrew Luck, Drew Stanton, Chandler Harnish. Out: none. I'm still feeling good about Luck's chances. The other two, as well, have proven that they deserve a roster spot, rather than getting one just based on necessity.

RB -- In (4): Donald Brown, Mewelde MooreVick Ballard, Delone Carter. Out: Darren Evans, Deji Karim. Analysis: The main movement here may just be on the depth chart. Vick Ballard is fast becoming the clear number two. Moore's connection with offensive coordinator Bruce Arians will certainly help him, while Carter looks to keep his spot on the roster. Darren Evans is a sleeper here. A few more solid outings will improve his stock.

WR -- In (6): Reggie Wayne, Austin CollieLaVon Brazill, T.Y. Hilton, Donnie AveryGriff Whalen. Out:Jeremy Ross, Kris Adams, Jarred Fayson, Jabin Sambrano, Quan Cosby. Analysis: Whalen is merely a hunch. He's been solid in limited time during camp, and he hauled in four catches for 59 yards and a score in his professional debut against Pittsburgh. Still, Collie's situation leaves the unit in flux, but, at this point, there's no reason to believe he won't be playing come September.

TEs -- In (3): Coby Fleener, Dwayne Allen, Dominique Jones. Out: Kyle Miller, Andre Smith. Analysis: Little movement in this group. If anything, Fleener and Allen solidified their spot in the offense. I still see Jones making the roster based on his ability to move to fullback when needed.

OL -- In (11): Anthony Castonzo, George Foster, Jeffrey Linkenbach, Joe Reitz, Samson Satele, A.Q. Shipley, Mike McGlynn, Seth Olsen, Winston Justice, Mike Tepper, Justin Snow. Out: Jason Foster, Ty Nsekhe, Zane Taylor,Hayworth Hicks, Steven Baker, Justin Anderson, Matt Overton. Analysis: Not much changing here, either. Nsekhe is intriguing, given his background as an arena football player. Still, little movement is expected on this front.

DL -- In (7): Cory Redding, Antonio Johnson, Fili Moala, Ricardo Mathews, Brandon McKinney, Drake Nevis, Josh Chapman. Out:James Aiono, Chigbo Anunoby, Jason Shirley. Analysis: Chapman (knee) is still out with an injury, but he's still expected on the roster. The others haven't changed.

LB -- In (9): Robert Mathis, Kavell Conner, Dwight Freeney, Pat Angerer, Jerry Hughes, Mario Harvey, Jerrell Freeman, Mario Addison, Greg Lloyd. Out: Tim Fugger, Jerry Brown, Justin Hickman, Larry Lumpkin. Analysis: Lloyd looked good Sunday, maybe good enough to supplant Fugger on the roster. There will likely be a lot fo fluidity in this position, especially given the new 3-4 scheme and the need for a bevy of linebackers.

DB -- In (8): Jerraud Powers, Justin King, Tom Zbikowski, Antoine Bethea, Cassius Vaughn, Korey Lindsey, Joe Lefeged, Latarrius Thomas. Out: Jermale Hines, Mike Newton, Terrence Johnson, David Caldwell, Cameron Chism, Antonio Fenelus, DJ Johnson, Brandon King, Chris Rucker, Matt Merletti. Analysis: Thomas looked good Sunday night, giving himself perhaps a chance to be in the driver's seat as a backup safety. Hines could easily jump ahead and take the spot, the same goes for DJ Johnson and Brandon King.

Special teams -- In (2): Adam Vinatieri, Pat McAfee. Out: Brian Stahovich. Analysis: This will likely remain unchanged.
