  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Won't scrimmage Sunday

Jackson (undisclosed) will not participate in the Pacers' 5-on-5 scrimmage Sunday, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Jackson was a limited participant in practice Friday, and he remains a question mark ahead of the season due to an undisclosed injury. The 22-year-old is expected to serve as the backup center to Myles Turner, but an extended absence could open the door for James Wiseman (groin) to receive more minutes.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Increased role Sunday

Jackson registered 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes during Sunday's 121-89 win over New York in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Jackson played a substantial role Sunday in reaching double digits in points for the first time in the playoffs, as the Pacers easily accounted for the Knicks, leveling the series at 2-2. This was an ugly loss for New York, while Indiana fans had the time of their lives at the Knicks' expense. Given the grit and grind attitude in New York, expect to see a much-improved performance when the series continues Tuesday.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Officially ruled out

Jackson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Unlikely to play

Jackson (hamstring) remains questionable for Friday's game against Cleveland but is unlikely to play according to head coach Rick Carlisle, Tony East of SI.com reports.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Maximizes minutes in garbage time

Jackson ended with eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two blocks across 14 minutes during Monday's 133-111 victory over the Nets.

Jackson has shown flashes of his ability throughout the season, averaging 6.6 points and 4.2 rebounds on 68.5 percent from the field since February. However, since Jalen Smith was moved from power forward to backup center to accommodate the arrival of Pascal Siakam, Jackson has had trouble fitting into the rotation. The 22-year-old is not expected to receive meaningful playing time buried behind Myles Turner and Smith as the Pacers fight to stay out of the Play-In Tournament.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Double-double off bench in win

Jackson recorded 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and three steals over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 122-103 win over Detroit.

Jackson hadn't been part of the rotation in any of the Pacers' previous four games, as his lone appearance during that stretch was a three-minute garbage-time cameo in a 121-100 win over Brooklyn last Saturday. However, with the Pacers playing in Detroit on Wednesday, head coach Rick Carlisle told Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star after the game that he came into the day prepared to insert Jackson -- who grew up in nearby Pontiac, Mich. -- into the rotation as the backup center. Jalen Smith -- who had been serving as Myles Turner's primary backup -- didn't get off the bench as a result, while Jackson put on a show for the hometown crowd that featured several of his family members and friends. Though Jackson has shown the ability in the past to put up excellent fantasy lines when given meaningful minutes, Carlisle's postgame comments suggest that the 23-year-old's entry into the rotation was more of a one-off thing. Expect Smith to step back in as Turner's backup for Friday's game at Golden State.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Leads with double-double in loss

Jackson had 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two steals over 18 minutes during Friday's 129-102 loss to New Orleans.

Jackson led all players in Friday's contest in rebounds while tallying a team-high-tying point total en route to posting the lone double-double of the night in extended time off the bench. Jackson, who saw extra time due to the blowout nature of the game, has hauled in 10 or more boards in three games this season, recording a double-double in all three of those outings.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Headed to bench Thursday

Jackson will return to the second unit for Thursday's game against the Pistons.

Jackson received a spot start in Indiana's final game heading into the All-Star break due to Myles Turner falling ill, but Turner is back in action, so Jackson will likely see his minutes reduced to the teens. He's safe to drop in most formats.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Double-doubles in spot start

Jackson notched 15 points (7-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and four blocks over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 127-125 victory over the Raptors.

Jackson earned a starting role Wednesday with Myles Turner (illness) sidelined, and the big man responded with a solid performance on both ends of the court, almost mimicking what Turner brings to the court for Indiana on a nightly basis. Jackson is expected to head back to a bench role when the Pacers resume their campaign following the All-Star break.

Jackson won't start Sunday's game against the Hornets.

Jackson made a spot start Friday and played well, posting 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes. However, he'll return to a bench role, as Myles Turner (ankle) has been cleared to suit up. Jalen Smith (back) is also available, so there won't be many minutes open for Jackson on Sunday.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Serviceable in spot start

Jackson totaled 10 points (3-8 FG, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Friday's 133-122 loss to the Kings.

Jackson moved into the starting lineup Friday, falling two rebounds short of a double-double. With Myles Turner (ankle) and Jalen Smith (back) sidelined, Jackson was the last man standing at center. Although he has the ability to put up 12-team numbers when afforded meaningful minutes, managers would need to see more of this before making him an add.
