  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Season ends with little fanfare

Suggs ended Sunday's 123-110 loss to the Heat with eight points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 15 minutes. Suggs' sophomore season came to an end Sunday, putting a bow on what was another underwhelming campaign. Derailed by injury early in the piece, Suggs never really got things going, even once he was healthy. He remains a key piece for the Magic moving forward, although exactly where he fits in remains to be seen.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Leads offense in starting lineup

Suggs ended with 22 points (7-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block in 24 minutes during Thursday's 118-94 loss to Cleveland. Suggs got his first start in the last 10 games due to the Magic sitting their entire starting lineup, finishing with a team-high mark in points, threes made and assists in Thursday's defeat. Suggs has surpassed the 20-point mark six times this season while now scoring at least 15 points in two of his last three outings.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Starting Thursday

Suggs is starting Thursday against the Cavaliers, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports. Suggs has come off the bench in his last nine appearances, but he'll return to the starting lineup Thursday since the Magic are resting their entire group of starters. Over 16 starts this year, he's averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 29.1 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Leads team with 18 points

Suggs logged 18 points (5-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four steals, two rebounds, two assists and one block across 26 minutes during Sunday's 128-102 victory over the Pistons. Suggs led the way for the Magic, scoring a team-high point total while offering excellent production on the defensive end. While Sunday's effort was certainly an encouraging performance, Suggs has been anything but consistent over the past few weeks. His defensive contributions have been relatively stable, but as for offense, it's basically a roll of the dice in most games, as he has 18 and 16 points in two of his past five games and less than 10 in the other three. He still makes for a strong option in 12-team leagues in the final week of the season as long as offensive production isn't a top priority for managers.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Falls flat Tuesday

Suggs closed with two points (1-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 113-108 loss to Memphis. Suggs popped for 16 points (6-9 FG) during his return to action Sunday following a four-game absence due to a concussion, but he fell flat Tuesday and posted his worst shooting performance of the campaign. The second-year guard's true value probably lies somewhere between his past two performances, but he has been prone to inconsistent play to start his career.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Pops for 16 points off bench

Suggs (concussion) contributed 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 24 minutes during Sunday's 119-106 win over the Nets. Suggs returned to action Sunday following a four-game absence due to a concussion and didn't show any ill effects of the issue across 24 minutes. Before the injury, Suggs had scored in double figures in nine of his previous 14 appearances and averaged 11.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 26.6 minutes during that stretch.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Available to play

Suggs (concussion) will be available to play Sunday against the Nets, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Suggs is back after spending four games on the sidelines, and his return should result in fewer minutes for Cole Anthony. Suggs can be hit-or-miss, but if you need some triples and steals in your matchup, he could be someone to consider as a streamer with a favorable matchup against the Nets.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Game-time decision Sunday

Suggs (concussion) participated in Saturday's practice and is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Nets, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Suggs has been sidelined for the Magic's previous four games after suffering a concussion. His participation in practice indicates he is trending in the right direction, but his final status Sunday will depend on how he feels prior to tip-off. Cole Anthony would presumably continue to benefit from extra minutes off the bench if Suggs is ultimately unable to play.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Still out

Suggs (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Knicks. Suggs will miss a fourth straight game due to a concussion. In his absence, Cole Anthony should continue to garner a hefty role off the bench behind Markelle Fultz and Gary Harris.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Listed out again

Suggs (concussion) is listed as out Tuesday against the Wizards. Suggs will miss his third straight game with his next chance to play coming against the Knicks on Thursday. Cole Anthony has been picking up the slack in Suggs' absence and totaled 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes against the Lakers on Sunday.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Out Sunday

Suggs (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers. This will mark the second straight game on the sidelines for Suggs, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards. With Suggs unavailable, Gary Harris and Cole Anthony should see a bump in minutes and Anthony will be more involved in running the offense in the second unit.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Won't play Saturday

Suggs has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Clippers due to a concussion. Suggs played 22 minutes and totaled just five points (1-4 FG), four rebounds and one assist during Thursday's loss to Phoenix, and it appears he was diagnosed with a concussion following the contest. It's unclear how long he'll be sidelined, but given Saturday is the first half of a back-to-back set, it wouldn't be surprising to see Suggs miss at least two contests.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Hounds Miami in win

Suggs produced 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks across 27 minutes during Saturday's 126-114 overtime win over Miami. Suggs was busy Saturday, handling a lot of possessions, contributing across the box score and dominating defensively. Though he's moved back to the bench for the past two games with Gary Harris reclaiming his spot in the starting five, Suggs has managed to stay productive and is now averaging 13.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.2 steals, 1.6 three-pointers and 0.6 blocks in 29.6 minutes per game over his last five contests. With Franz Wagner (ankle) exiting late Saturday with an injury that could cost him time, Suggs could be in store for an elevated minutes count once again Tuesday in San Antonio.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Scores 17 points off bench

Suggs finished with 17 points (7-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Thursday's 131-124 loss to the Jazz. Suggs moved back to the bench with Gary Harris returning from a two-game absence, but the former still garnered a solid role and posted an all-around line during Thursday's loss. The second-year point guard scored his most points since Feb. 14, dished out his most assists since Nov. 19 and logged at least one steal for a fifth consecutive contest. During that five-game stretch, Suggs is averaging 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 steals in 29.1 minutes.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Moves back to bench

Suggs isn't in the starting lineup for Thursday's game versus Utah, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Gary Harris will replace Suggs in the starting lineup Thursday after missing the last two games with a hip injury. Suggs is averaging 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 20.1 minutes across his previous 25 appearances coming off the bench, so his workload seems likely to scale back a bit.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Solid game in start

Suggs finished with 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals across 35 minutes during Sunday's 122-119 loss to Portland. Suggs got the starting nod alongside Markelle Fultz in the backcourt Sunday night and delivered an overall solid performance, knocking down 50 percent of his shots and adding three big steals while almost matching his season high in minutes. After losing a significant amount of playing time back in January and Febuary, the young guard is now averaging 30 minutes per game to start the month of March, putting him back into strong streaming consideration in standard leagues.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Starting Sunday

Suggs will enter the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Trail Blazers, with Gary Harris (hip) unavailable. Joining Suggs in the first unit will be Markelle Fultz, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. Suggs should be able to flirt with minutes in the 30s in a starting role, and he'll draw a favorable matchup against Portland, so he could be someone to think about as a potential streamer.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Logs 30 minutes in win

Suggs closed Friday's 117-106 victory over Charlotte with 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes. While Suggs was moderately productive in Friday's victory, the playing time was the real talking point. Since returning from injury in early January, this was the first time Suggs has eclipsed 30 minutes. Franz Wagner went down with an ankle injury and based on what played out following the incident, Suggs could see an uptick in playing time if Wagner misses time. Suggs isn't a must-roster player just yet but if things trend in the right direction, he could certainly be back on the standard league radar.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Inefficient against Detroit

Suggs racked up two points (1-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block in 21 minutes during Thursday's 108-106 victory over Detroit. Suggs posted his second-highest scoring total of the season during Orlando's final game before the All-Star break with 24 points against Toronto, but he was much less effective during Thursday's narrow win. He's been held to single-digit scoring totals in three of his last six appearances and has averaged 9.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 24.8 minutes per game during that time.

  • Magic's Jalen Suggs: Nabs starting nod Thursday

Suggs will start Thursday's game versus the Nuggets, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports. Suggs gets a look with the starting unit in place of Gary Harris (groin), who will sit out. Suggs, a second-year guard, started 13 games early in the season and averaged 12.6 points, 5.5 assists, 3.4 boards and 1.5 steals over 29.0 minutes per game, but that came as the primary point guard. That's unlikely to be the case Thursday with Markelle Fultz healthy and starting, so expectations should be tempered.
