  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Starting against Denver

Juzang is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, Utah Jazz's play-by-play commentator David Locke reports. Juzang will move to the starting lineup due to the absence of Collin Sexton (illness). Juzang tallied 27 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Warriors. He's made just one start this season, where he posted eight points across 21 minutes in a loss to the Rockets on March 23.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Explodes for 27 points from bench

Juzang posted 27 points (9-12 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Sunday's 118-110 loss to the Warriors. Juzang has appeared in only 16 games for the Jazz this season, but he came out of nowhere with a career-high 27 points during the loss. The UCLA product has been a lethal long-range threat with the G League's Salt Lake City Stars, and he showed the same sharpshooting prowess Sunday with seven three-pointers. Juzang has likely earned himself additional playing time in the final week after this impressive performance.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Cleared to play

Juzang (back) has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Rockets, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Juzang will shed his questionable tag and will likely see some rotation minutes Friday. In March, Juzang has averaged 17.2 minutes across nine appearances.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Questionable for Friday

Juzang (back) is questionable to play Friday against the Rockets. Juzang missed Wednesday's loss to the Spurs and is now in danger of missing a second consecutive contest. However, even if he's available, he's not expected to impact the rotation significantly.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Ruled out Wednesday

Juzang will not play in Wednesday's game versus the Spurs due to back spasms. Juzang is a late addition to Utah's injury report. In his absence, Brice Sensabaugh and Talen Horton-Tucker could be in line for a few more depth minutes on the wing.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Available against Sacramento

Juzang (quadriceps) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Kings, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Juzang is available for Wednesday's season opener after missing the entire preseason with a quadriceps injury. As a two-way player, Juzang will split time between the NBA and G League this season.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Still sidelined

Juzang (quadriceps) didn't play in Thursday's 116-113 preseason loss to Utah. Juzang continues to deal with a quadriceps injury he suffered during Summer League action. Given he didn't play at all during the preseason, his status for the regular season seems murky, at best. Even when he's healthy, the second-year wing will presumably spend most of the 2023-24 campaign in the G League.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Sits out Tuesday

Juzang didn't play in Tuesday's 103-98 preseason loss to the Clippers. After dealing with a quadriceps injury in Summer League play, Juzang hasn't been on Utah's preseason injury reports but hasn't taken the court during the team's first two exhibition games. His next opportunity to play will be Saturday against the Trail Blazers.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Won't play Sunday

Juzang won't play in Sunday's Summer League game against the Rockets due to a left quadriceps contusion. Juzang has been a focal point for Utah's Summer League squad, averaging 12.5 points across 23.7 minutes per game, but he'll be one of a handful of Jazz players sidelined Sunday. If Utah wins, the second-year guard will have a chance to suit up for the championship Monday.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Cleared for Summer League action

Juzang (ankle) will play in Wednesday's Summer League game against Philadelphia, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Juzang has been battling a right ankle sprain during the early portions of the offseason and missed Utah's Summer League opener but will be available for Wednesday's tilt. The second-year guard figures to share backcourt duties with Keyonte George, Ochai Agbaji and Colbey Ross Wednesday, though it's unclear if Juzang will be limited by the injury in any capacity.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Scores 10 off bench

Juzang supplied 10 points (3-12 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes during Friday's 144-116 loss to Milwaukee. This game was over in a hurry, so Juzang was able to get extended run in the blowout. He played minutes in the low teens in his previous two games, and he's a candidate to see more run in the final two weeks with the Jazz looking toward the future.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Questionable against Milwaukee

Juzang is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks due to a left hip flexor strain. Juzang played double-digit minutes in his last two appearances, but it's unclear whether he'll be able to suit up against Milwaukee. If he's available, it's possible he sees a slight uptick in playing time since the Jazz will be without several starters.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Improved shooting in win

Juzang tallied 30 points (9-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and three assists during Thursday's win over the Ignite. Juzang shot the ball much better than his previous outing, as the guard managed 52.9 percent overall shooting Thursday compared to 30.8 percent a game prior. The UCLA product is averaging 18.2 points in the G League this season.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Called up from G League

The Jazz called Juzang up from the G League's Salt Lake City Stars and are making him available for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. With Utah having already ruled out four players for Tuesday's game due to injury or illness, Juzang looks like he'll get the rare chance to dress for the NBA squad. The two-way rookie out of UCLA has yet to make his NBA debut and likely won't be part of head coach Will Hardy's rotation Tuesday.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Totals 24 points Friday

Juzang added 24 points (8-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block during Friday's win over Iowa. Juzang reached the 24-point mark for a second time across his last three games. The guard is averaging 17.1 points per matchup with the Stars in the G League this year.

Juzang (wrist) didn't play in Saturday's loss against Ontario in the G League. Juzang was diagnosed with a Grade 3 sprain in his right wrist in late November, and he's still reportedly dealing with the injury. He'll have a chance to return to action Tuesday against the Blue.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Not available Friday

Juzang (wrist) is listed as out for Friday's game against the Timberwolves. Juzang, one of the Jazz's two-way players, has yet to make his NBA debut. He's been out of action at the G League level for the past three weeks due to a right wrist sprain and is without a clear timeline to resume playing.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Dealing with wrist injury

Juzang was diagnosed Tuesday with a Grade 3 sprain (full thickness tear) in his right wrist and will be re-evaluated in 10-to-14 days, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Juzang, one of the Jazz's two two-way players, has yet to make his NBA debut, so he presumably suffered the injury during his most recent appearance for the G League's Salt Lake City Stars last Friday. In five outings for the Stars this season, the 6-foot-6 wing is shooting 36.8 percent from the field and is averaging 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 three-pointers in 29.3 minutes per game.

  • Jazz's Johnny Juzang: Moves to G League Salt Lake City

Juzang has joined G League Salt Lake City. Juzang signed with the Jazz on a two-way deal this offseason, so this seemed a likely move at some point. Juzang should claim a regular role with the G League squad and will likely float between the two levels in 2022-23.
