Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Posts big double-double off bench
Aldama recorded 22 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 14 rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 112-108 victory over the Mavericks.
Aldama came into the contest averaging just 20.2 minutes over his previous five contests, but he saw 28 minutes against Dallas and made the most of his opportunity. The big man finished with his fourth double-double of the season, registering career highs in both points and rebounds. Aldama has proven capable of providing sneaky fantasy value when given ample playing time, but he's difficult to roster with his minutes typically in the high teens or low 20s.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Sneaky production in win
Aldama ended Thursday's 131-110 victory over Golden State with 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes.
Aldama played at least 30 minutes for the first time in over a month, topping double digits for the second straight game. With Brandon Clarke (Achilles) done for the season and Steven Adams (knee) set to miss at least another month, Aldama should feature heavily moving forward. While Xavier Tillman is the preferred option, Aldama could provide just enough value to be looked at for streaming purposes, even in 12-team leagues.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Fills up stat sheet Sunday
Aldama finished Sunday's 119-109 loss to the Celtics with nine points (2-11 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes.
Aldama's erratic shooting from the three-point range took a bigger performance off the table, but his ability to check off every major category made him useful enough for those that streamed him in Sunday. He's unlikely to approach 30 minutes like he did Sunday on a regular basis, however; the elevated playing time was a byproduct of starting power forward Jaren Jackson fouling out in just 20 minutes.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Shines off bench Friday
Aldama provided 18 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and four rebounds in 20 minutes during Friday's 128-107 victory over Minnesota.
Aldama made the most of his 20 minutes off the bench Friday, missing just two shots from the field and ending with one of his best scoring marks of the campaign. The Spaniard has scored in double digits in four of his last five outings, but he should remain off the bench going forward, and that should limit his upside considerably.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Returns to bench unit
Aldama isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus Chicago, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports.
Aldama will be replaced by Dillon Brooks in the starting lineup Tuesday. He is averaging 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.4 minutes across his last five games coming off the bench.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Quality numbers in starting role
Aldama finished Sunday's 106-103 loss to the Raptors with 15 points (5-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 32 minutes.
Though Jaren Jackson (thigh) returned from a one-game absence, Aldama still drew a second consecutive start as part of an oversized lineup that also featured Xavier Tillman at center. Aldama ended up serving as the small forward on the top unit in place of Dillon Brooks, who was serving a one-game suspension. Even if Ja Morant (wrist) remains sidelined for a second straight game Tuesday against the Bulls, Aldama will likely head back to the bench and should see a steep downturn in playing time, despite faring well over his pair of starts. Between losses to the Cavaliers and Raptors, Aldama averaged 18.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 33 minutes.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Remains in starting lineup
Aldama is starting Sunday against Toronto, Rob Fischer of Bally Sports Southeast reports.
Aldama started Friday against the Cavaliers and logged 21 points, 10 rebounds, an assist and a steal in 34 minutes. Although Jaren Jackson will be back in action Sunday, Aldama will remain in the starting lineup with Dillon Brooks (suspension) unavailable.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Strong performance in spot start
Aldama supplied 21 points (7-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes during Thursday's 128-113 loss to the Cavaliers.
Aldama moved into the starting lineup Thursday, filling in for Jaren Jackson, who was ruled out due to a thigh injury. While this is likely just a short-term move, Aldama was able to remind everyone of what he was able to do earlier in the season. However, he had logged no more than 21 minutes in eight straight games prior to this. He is fine to stream if Jackson misses more time, but beyond that, Aldama is better suited to deeper formats.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Starting Thursday
Aldama will enter the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Cavs, Spencer Davies of BasketballNews.com reports.
This was the expected move with Jaren Jackson Jr. (thigh) unavailable for Thursday's game, and Aldama could make sense as a streaming option. Through 12 starts this season, he's put in averages of 9.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 triples, 1.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest. Joining him in the first unit will be Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks and Xavier Tillman.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Likely starter Thursday
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins indicated Thursday that Aldama is in line to start at the four against the Cavaliers, Spencer Davies of BasketballNews.com reports.
Aldama's impending starting nod comes in place of Jaren Jackson (thigh), who is doubtful to suit up Thursday evening. Aldama's starting spot will likely only last as long as Jackson remains sidelined, and there is no indication at this point that Jackson's injury will cost him extensive action.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Fails to score in 11 minutes
Aldama posted zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 12 minutes during Sunday's 112-110 loss to the Suns.
Aldama's role continues to shrink, having played fewer than 20 minutes in three straight games. After a red-hot start to the season, he has quickly become an afterthought in fantasy circles, clocking in as the 241st-ranked player over the past month. Should Jaren Jackson miss time at some point, Aldama would be back on the radar as a possible streaming target. Failing that, he can be left for those in deeper formats.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Chips in 17 points off bench
Aldama posted 17 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals over 26 minutes during Saturday's 130-112 win over the Pacers.
Aldama had a fairly quiet first half with six points on 2-of-3 shooting from the field, adding three rebounds and a steal. The Memphis forward was a bit more aggressive in the second half, knocking down four of six shot attempts for another 11 points as the Grizzlies easily took care of Indiana on the road. Aldama finished third on the team in scoring with 17 points, his second-highest point total of the season and is shooting 55.3 percent from the field in the month of January.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Will be available Wednesday
Aldama (ankle) is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Hornets.
Aldama has missed back-to-back games due to an ankle injury and was initially deemed questionable for Wednesday. He'll ultimately return to action against Charlotte, but it's unclear how much run he'll get. Before his brief absence, the backup big man had posted 9.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 19.9 minutes over his past 15 appearances (one start).

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Nabs questionable tag
Aldama (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.
Aldama was listed as doubtful prior to Sunday's game against the Kings, so his questionable tag Wednesday represents an upgrade in terms of his chances of suiting up. Should Aldama retake the floor, he would presumably slot back into a double-digit minutes bench role in the Grizzlies' frontcourt.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Won't play Sunday
Aldama (ankle) will not play Sunday against the Kings.
Aldama will sit for the second straight night as he continues to deal with a sore ankle. His absence will likely leave 15-to-20 minutes up for grabs, and with Brandon Clarke (hip) and Desmond Bane (toe) also out, rookies David Roddy and Jake LaRavia should be in line for increased action.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Doutbful for Sunday
Aldama (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Kings.
Aldama already missed Saturday's game and might be in line to sit out the second half of this back-to-back set. If that is the case, then his next chance to play would come Wednesday at Charlotte. The potential absence of Aldama would free up minutes for the likes of Brandon Clarke and possibly Jake LaRavia.
