Hudgins being waived marks a last-minute roster change for Houston. It's unclear who the Rockets will add to join Jeenathan Williams and Jermaine Samuels as its final two-way signee. Hudgins is eligible to be designated to Houston's G League affiliate, although he could opt to submit his name for the G League Draft if no other franchise claims him.
Hudgins recorded 26 points (10-20 FG, 5-15 3PT, 1-1 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 105-92 Summer League win against the Thunder.
With Jabari Smith and Tari Eason resting, the Rockets leaned heavily on Cam Whitmore and Hudgins. After he signed a two-way contract with the Rockets in early July, these are the types of performances we could see from Hudgins in the G League this season as he develops his game.

Houston is set to get at least one starter (Jalen Green) back from a multi-game absence Tuesday against the Nuggets, while Kevin Porter (foot) is listed as questionable and may also be ready to return to the lineup.
