Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Invisible in Game 1 loss
Jackson ended Sunday's 131-80 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with four points (2-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes.
The usage was there for Jackson, but he had a miserable night shooting the ball. It was a brutal game for most of Memphis' key players as well. Jackson didn't have much success against the Thunder in three regular-season contests, averaging 19.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 36.5 percent from the field.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Struggles with shot
Jackson totaled 18 points (6-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 121-116 Play-In Game loss to the Warriors.
Jackson was underwhelming on both ends of the court Tuesday. Ja Morant tweaked his ankle in the loss, meaning more usage could be headed Jackson's way if the guard can't shake it. The Grizzlies will face the loser of the matchup between Dallas and Sacramento for the final spot in the playoffs on Friday.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Ready for Tuesday
Jackson (back) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's Play-In Game against the Warriors.
Jackson was held out of Sunday's regular-season finale due to a back issue, but it won't keep him from Tuesday's action. He put together a solid performance in his last showing versus Golden State, finishing with 22 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 31 minutes April 1.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Unlikely vs. Dallas
Jackson is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Mavericks due to low back soreness.
The Grizzlies have already locked up a spot in the Play-In Tournament, so there's no point in risking some of their regular rotation members, and Jackson has often been the second- or third-best player on the team throughout the season. The doubtful tag suggests Jackson might not play, however, and if that's the case, then Lamar Stevens, GG Jackson, Jay Huff and Vince Williams could see more minutes in the frontcourt.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Downgraded to out
Jackson (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Mavericks.
As expected, Jackson and most of Memphis' regulars won't play in the regular-season finale. Despite the absence, Jackson is expected to play in the Play-In Tournament, though the Grizzlies' opponent is to be determined.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Scores 23 points in loss
Jackson chipped in 23 points (8-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals across 37 minutes during Thursday's 141-125 loss to Minnesota.
Jackson didn't do much outside of scoring, and the fact that he grabbed only one rebound was disappointing for fantasy managers. However, most of his value should remain tied to what he brings to the table in the scoring column. Jackson has reached the 20-point mark in six of his last eight contests, averaging 21.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game over that span.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Shooting woes in Tuesday's win
Jackson chipped in 14 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, two steals and one assist in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 124-100 win over the Hornets.
Jackson delivered a lackluster performance from the field against Charlotte, and over his last five outings, he has shot only 40.0 percent from the floor. The star big man has still recorded at least 20 points in three of those five outings, though his efficiency of late is a bit concerning with the playoffs right around the corner. Jackson failed to record a block for the second straight game, though he logged multiple steals for just the second time in his last 10 appearances.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Subpar stat line Thursday
Jackson contributed 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes during Thursday's 110-108 victory over the Heat.
The Grizzlies secured a tight win over the Heat on Thursday, but Jackson didn't have his best stat line, struggling with his shot and failing to make a big impact in other categories. Perhaps the only area in which Jackson made his presence felt was on defense, as he recorded two or more steals-plus-blocks combined for the eighth time over his last nine appearances. His shot, however, wasn't as efficient as it was in previous games, and this was the first time he didn't reach the 15-point mark since posting 14 points in a loss to the Trail Blazers on March 19.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Grabs 15 rebounds in loss
Jackson posted 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's 117-103 loss to the Celtics.
Jackson was impressive on both ends of the court Monday, extending his streak of games with at least 20 points to three and also notching a season-high mark in the rebounding category. Jackson isn't an elite rebounder by any means, however, and this was just his fifth double-double of the campaign, and first since Jan. 20. Don't expect him to experience an uptick in that category ahead of the final weeks of the season, with the majority of Jackson's upside coming via his scoring and defensive numbers.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Scores 27 points in loss Thursday
Jackson racked up 27 points (9-21 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 31 minutes during Thursday's 125-104 loss to the Thunder.
Jackson didn't have his best performance from a shooting perspective, making just nine of his 21 attempts from the floor, but he still posted an impressive line as the Grizzlies were once again without Ja Morant (hamstring) in the lineup. Jackson, who missed five games earlier this month due to an ankle injury, is averaging 19.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.7 steals-plus-blocks per game in his last seven outings. Even if there are inconsistencies in his scoring numbers, Jackson provides enough value on both ends of the court to remain a key figure in all fantasy formats.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Absent from injury report
Jackson (face) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Jackson took an elbow to the face during the third quarter of Tuesday's win over Utah and did not return. However, he's avoided significant injury and will be available to face Oklahoma City on Thursday. In his last five outings, Jackson is averaging 19.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks across 30.0 minutes.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Exits to locker room Tuesday
Jackson (face) exited to the locker room with 7:39 remaining in the third quarter and hasn't returned to the Grizzlies' bench in Tuesday's game against the Jazz, per the broadcast.
Jackson left for the locker room after appearing to take an elbow to the face from an opposing player. Jay Huff and Zach Edey will likely shoulder the workload at center the rest of the way if Jackson is unable to return.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Doesn't return against Utah
Jackson (face) finished Tuesday's 140-103 win over the Jazz with 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 23 minutes.
Jackson left Tuesday's blowout win with 7:39 remaining in the third quarter after taking an elbow to the face and didn't return. However, with the Grizzlies up 105-82 entering the fourth quarter, there was little need for the star big man to check back in. Jackson's status for Thursday's matchup with the Thunder is unclear.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Strikes for team-high 23 in loss
Jackson amassed 23 points (9-24 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 128-108 loss to the Clippers.
The 25-year-old forward led the Grizzlies in scoring as he begins to regain his form. It's only the second time in five games since returning from an ankle injury that Jackson has topped 20 points, and over that span he's averaging 18.6 points, 3.8 boards, 1.8 steals, 1.8 threes, 1.4 assists and 1.0 blocks.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Efficient on offense Saturday
Jackson recorded 31 points (13-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 33 minutes during Saturday's 125-91 victory over the Heat.
Jackson had to deal with Bam Adebayo on both ends of the court, but he put together an impressive all-around night. This was his 12th performance with at least 30 points this season, and Jackson took advantage of the absence of Ja Morant (shoulder) to play a more prominent role on offense. Even if Morant returns against the Kings on Monday, Jackson will continue to operate as one of the top options offensively.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Brings defense in return
Jackson provided 13 points (4-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four steals, three rebounds and two blocks across 28 minutes in Friday's 133-124 loss to the Cavaliers.
Back in action after missing the last six games due to a Grade 2 left ankle sprain, Jackson nearly matched his season-long average of 29.4 minutes per game. He handled a substandard 15.3 percent usage rate while Ja Morant (44 points on 22 field-goal attempts) dominated the ball for Memphis, but Jackson made his mark on the defensive end, falling just one steal shy of matching his season high. Fantasy managers who elected not to activate Jackson on Friday should wait to do so until his status for Saturday's game against the Heat is clarified. The Grizzlies haven't offered an indication that Jackson will be held out for the second leg of the back-to-back set, though it wouldn't be surprising if he was rested coming off the injury.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Cleared to return Friday
Jackson (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Jackson missed the Grizzlies' last five games due to a left ankle sprain, but he has progressed enough in his recovery to return to action Friday. His return will likely result in GG Jackson shifting to a reserve role.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Questionable to play Friday
Jackson (ankle) is questionable to play Friday against the Cavaliers.
Jackson has missed the last five games for Memphis due to his ankle injury, and he may potentially miss a sixth if he is ruled out. Since Santi Aldama (calf) is also sidelined, expect GG Jackson to remain in the starting lineup if Jackson can't play Friday.

Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Takes part in shootaround, still out
Jackson (ankle), who has already been ruled out for Friday's game against Dallas, was on the floor for Friday's morning shootaround, Chris Herrington of The Daily Memphian reports.
While Jackson's presence on the court would seem to be an encouraging sign, he still appears to be week-to-week while he recovers from a Grade 2 left ankle sprain, which he sustained in Monday's 132-130 loss to the Hawks. Before going down with the injury, Jackson was in the midst of a career-best season, and over his last 10 appearances, he had averaged 22.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.1 steals across 30.7 minutes per contest. Santi Aldama (calf) has missed the Grizzlies' last two games, but when healthy, he'll likely step in as Jackson's main replacement as the team's starting power forward.
