This was Martin's second game with at least 30 points on the season, but the star guard has reached the 20-point mark six times since the start of February. It has been a woeful year for the Squadron, but Martin certainly made his presence felt with his scoring ability.

Firmly entrenched as one of the Squadron's go-to players on offense, Martin is averaging 20.1 points while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from deep this season.

Martin didn't contribute much outside of the scoring column, but he didn't need to do so, as he showed elite efficiency and carried the Squadron offensively in this 33-point win. Of course, Martin will not regularly shoot the ball with this efficiency, but his role as one of Birmingham's main scoring threats is all but safe going forward.

Martin didn't have a good shooting performance in this game, but this was nothing more than a bad game for the former Butler product. He's averaging 19.4 points per game this season and should remain a competent offensive threat for Birmingham as the campaign progresses.

Martin has been a reliable scoring threat for the Squadron whenever he's been available, and the best example is the fact that he's scored at least 15 points in every one of his appearances. Martin ended a streak of five straight appearances with 20 or more points Friday, but he's still averaging a respectable 22.1 points per game.
