Top Kyrie Irving News

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Scores team-high 33 points

Irving ended with 33 points (14-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and four blocks across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 122-116 victory over the Hornets.

Irving scored 12 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Nets held on for the victory. It was his fifth 30-point performance of the season and first since Oct. 29. He missed six of his seven three-point attempts Wednesday, continuing his season-long struggles from beyond the arc as he's made just 31.5 percent of his tries so far.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Strong start to December

Irving contributed 27 points (10-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 39 minutes during Friday's 114-105 win over the Raptors.

Irving hit the 20-point mark for the seventh straight game, and he shot efficiently from the field. He also contributed across the board, producing slightly above his season average in rebounds (4.1) and assists (4.3). Kevin Durant and Iriving continue to serve as a dangerous scoring duo for this Nets team, and the latter is averaging 24.8 points through 16 contests to go along with Durant's 29.8 points per game.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Reaches 20-point mark once again

Irving racked up 27 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), one rebound, five assists, two blocks and one steal over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 113-107 victory over the Wizards.

Irving hasn't had his best shooting performances of late and has failed to record more than 10 field goals made in four straight contests, but he is still finding ways to produce while settling as Brooklyn's second-best offensive weapon behind Kevin Durant, who's having another elite year in his own right. Irving has scored at least 20 points in six games in a row, meaning he's achieved that feat in all but one of his appearances since returning from suspension.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Scores 20 points in win

Irving notched 20 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one block in 39 minutes during Monday's 109-102 win over the Magic.

Irving has now scored at least 20 points in five games in a row, but that's where the positives end for him in this game since he didn't deliver major contributions in other categories. Irving is averaging 21.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game since returning from his suspension.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Solid performance Sunday

Irving closed Sunday's 111-97 win over the Trail Blazers with 22 points (8-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and six assists across 38 minutes.

Irving produced his fourth straight 20-point game Sunday as he helped lead the Nets to victory. Since returning from his suspension on Nov. 20, he's averaging 21.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists while making 52.5 percent of his shot attempts in five games. After making just 28.0 percent of his three-point tries through the first eight games, Irving has hit 40.0 percent of his attempts since returning.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Solid showing as scorer

Irving finished Wednesday's 112-98 win over the Raptors with 29 points (11-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and three assists over 28 minutes.

Irving led the Nets in scoring in a game where Kevin Durant struggled to make an impact on offense, and the veteran point guard didn't need too much time to pick things up where he left them off before his eight-game suspension. Irving has scored over 20 points in his last two outings and should remain a pivotal figure on offense for Brooklyn, even being capable of taking over in games such as Wednesday's matchup.

  • Nets' Kyrie Irving: Subdued in Sunday's return

Irving registered 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's 127-115 victory over Memphis.

Irving was slow out of the gates in the win, ending with a somewhat underwhelming line. Production aside, it was great to see Irving back on the floor, allowing the Nets to run with an almost full-strength lineup, sans Nicolas Claxton, who was out due to personal reasons. While the numbers were below what we normally expect, it should not take long for Irving to be right back where he belongs, putting up first-round fantasy value.
