  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Belts two-run homer in win

Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-3 victory versus the Rockies on Monday. Bohm's long ball was a big one, as he belted a two-run shot in the eighth inning to give the Phillies their first lead. It was just the third homer of the season for the third baseman but his second over his past five contests. Bohm has been swinging a hot stick throughout May, batting .339 with the two homers, eight RBI and seven runs through 16 games.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Lifts second homer

Bohm went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in a 14-7 loss to the Cardinals in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader. Bohm brought the Phillies back within two runs in the fourth inning, but that was as close as they'd get before the Cardinals rallied late. Power has been a problem for Bohm this season -- he doubled his total of extra-base hits in May with a homer and a double in this contest. However, he's been more consistent at the plate lately, going 15-for-42 (.357) over 12 contests this month. Overall, he's batting .258 with a .650 OPS, two homers, 13 RBI, 16 runs scored, six doubles, one triple and a stolen base over 40 games.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Getting rest Saturday

Bohm isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus Cleveland. Bohm will get a breather Saturday after recording hits in each of his last six games, going 8-for-22 with three RBI and four runs scored in the process. Edmundo Sosa will fill in at the hot corner and bat ninth.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Continues to hit for average

Bohm went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Thursday's 7-6 extra-inning victory over the Rays. Through his first seven games in May, Bohm is batting .308 with one home run, one double, four RBI and four runs scored over 26 at-bats. The corner infielder hasn't hit for much power overall in 2025, but he's batting .304 (24-for-79) across his last 21 outings. Bohm began the season in the top half of Philadelphia's lineup, but he'll likely stick in the lower part of the batting order unless he starts to supply more pop.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Not in Philadelphia lineup

Bohm is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals. It's the first day off since April 6 and just the second day off this season for Bohm. Edmundo Sosa will play third base and bat eighth for the Phillies on Wednesday.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Extends hitting streak to six games

Bohm went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in Saturday's win over Miami. Although it's still been a quiet start to the season overall, Bohm is beginning to pick things up at the plate lately. The corner infielder is riding a modest six-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .304 (7-for-23) with two doubles, three RBI, three runs scored and one stolen base. Bohm has struck out just three times during this stretch and entered Saturday's action with an elite 34.1 percent squared-up rate, per Statcast, so fantasy managers should remain patient with the 2024 All-Star.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Moved down to seven spot

Bohm will start at third base and bat seventh in Thursday's game in Atlanta, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. Bohm hadn't previously hit lower than cleanup, but he'll be moved down to a less prominent spot in the lineup after going just 1-for-18 at the plate over his last four games. Nick Castellanos will be the Phillies' cleanup hitter Thursday.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Sitting for first time in 2025

Bohm is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers. Bohm will receive his first day off this season after batting .200 with one extra-base hit (a double) in 36 plate appearances. Edmundo Sosa will fill in for Bohm at the hot corner.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Rejoins lineup Wednesday

Bohm (foot) will start at third base and bat cleanup in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He'll return to action for the first time since Saturday, after a bruised foot prompted the Phillies to hold him out for a few days. Bohm has batted out of the No. 3 or 4 spot in each of his 12 starts so far this spring, so he'll likely find himself in a prime run-producing spot behind Trea Turner and Bryce Harper once the season gets underway.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Could be back Wednesday

Bohm is dealing with a bruised foot but could return to the Phillies' Grapefruit League lineup as soon as Wednesday versus the Yankees, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. Bohm hasn't played since Saturday because of the injury, but he's feeling better and will be back in action soon. The third baseman has put together a nice spring thus far, sporting a 1.108 OPS with three long balls.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Early power surge this spring

Bohm went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against Toronto. Bohm took Blue Jays right-hander Bowden Francis deep in the third inning, homering for the third time in just 21 at-bats this spring so far. The 28-year-old corner infielder has driven in 97 runs while batting at least .274 in each of the past two seasons, making him a relatively safe option in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts as part of Philadelphia's potent lineup.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Settles at $7.7 million

Bohm agreed to a one-year, $7.7 million contract with the Phillies on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports. The third baseman was the subject of trade rumors early in the offseason after a tumultuous finish to 2024, but it appears he'll be sticking in Philadelphia for the start of the upcoming campaign. Bohm totaled 15 home runs, 97 RBI and 62 runs with a .280/.332/.448 slash line in 143 games during the 2024 regular season.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Out of lineup for Game 2

Bohm is not starting for the Phillies in the second game of the NLDS versus the Mets. Bohm went 0-for-4 in Game 1 of the series Saturday after finishing the regular season in a 2-for-27 slump. The Phillies are opting to start Edmundo Sosa at third base Sunday against Mets right-hander Luis Severino.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Fuels offense in huge win

Bohm went 4-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and four RBI in Friday's 12-2 victory over the Mets. The Philadelphia third baseman had struggled since returning from a hand injury Sept. 15, hitting just .133 (2-for-15) with a solo homer over four games, but broke out with this monster display. Bohm slugged his 15th homer of the season in the fourth inning with a 383-foot, three-run blast off Adam Ottavino. The 28-year-old also collected his third four-hit performance of the season, but his since June 24 at Detroit. Bohm now sports a .290/.343/.467 slash line with 94 RBI and 62 runs scored across 578 plate appearances this season.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Reinstated off IL, starting Sunday

The Phillies reinstated Bohm (hand) from the 10-day injured list. He'll start at third base and bat fifth Sunday against the Mets. Bohm injured his left hand in late August and was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 3. He made one rehab appearance on Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, when he went 2-for-4 with one double. The Phillies evidently saw enough from Bohm on Saturday to bring him back with the big club, and he'll immediately reclaim his spot in the infield rather than being eased back in as the designated hitter.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Beginning assignment Saturday

Bohm (hand) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Bohm has been on the injured list since Sept. 6 due to a strained left hand, though he hasn't played in a game since late August. He'll now head out to the minors to play a few tune-up games, and manager Rob Thomson said that the 28-year-old could return to the Phillies on Monday for the start of their upcoming series in Milwaukee.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Remains on bench

Bohm (hand) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. While the Phillies are still expecting Bohm to avoid a stint on the injured list, he'll end up missing out on a fifth straight start while he continues to deal with swelling on his left hand. Kody Clemens will fill in at third base for Bohm, who can be considered day-to-day heading into Thursday's series opener in Miami.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Not expected to face Toronto

Manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that Bohm (hand) likely won't play during the Phillies' current series against the Blue Jays, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. The Phillies' skipper added that he doesn't expect Bohm to require a trip to the injured list, and he should be able to return to the lineup sometime during the team's upcoming series in Miami. The 28-year-old hasn't played since leaving Thursday's game against Atlanta due to inflammation in his left hand.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Held out again Tuesday

Bohm (hand) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's game in Toronto, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports. Bohm missed the final three games of the weekend series versus Atlanta and still isn't ready to play in the series opener in Toronto even after a team off day Monday. Edmundo Sosa will receive another start at third base for the Phillies.

  • Phillies' Alec Bohm: Out again Saturday

Bohm (hand) isn't in the Phillies' lineup Saturday versus Atlanta. Bohm was cleared of any structural damage after he left Thursday's game with a left hand injury, but he'll now miss his second consecutive start as he continues to deal with some soreness. While he recovers, Weston Wilson will get the nod at the hot corner and bat seventh.
