On both previous occasions they came on the same play (Roberto Pena on May 30, 1970 vs. Detroit and Ben Oglivie on Sept. 26, 1980 at Oakland).

A Joey Ortiz injury and a walk-off hit from his replacement, Andruw Monasterio. 6-5 Brewers win in 10 innings and a three-game sweep of the reigning World Series champs.
