Update: The Rockies are also interested in Torrealba, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com

The Reds are among teams interested in catcher Yorvit Torrealba, according Heyman.

The 34-year-old saw time with three teams last season, hitting .227/.293/.330 in 218 plate appearances. Torrealba played in just five games with the Brewers before refusing a demotion to Triple-A. He became a free agent in late-October.

The Reds already have Ryan Hanigan and Devin Mesoraco as their tandem, so it will be interesting to see if they are willing to add a third catcher. Hanigan received more playing time last season, but Mesoraco is considered the catcher-of-the-future in Cincinnati.
