Phillies SP Aaron Harang posts strong outing vs. Marlins

Phillies veteran right-hander Aaron Harang broke a string of poor performances with a terrific outing against the Marlins on Saturday. Harang allowed two runs on two hits over seven innings. His command was a little off, as he walked four and struck out three, but he did a good job of limiting the damage to just two runs.

Harang did not factor in the final decision, as the Phillies rallied late to grab the 4-2 win and get Harang off the hook.

Both runs Harang allowed came in the third inning, but he was solid the rest of the way. Harang entered the game with a whopping 10.80 ERA over his previous three starts, so this was a much-needed bounceback for the 37-year-old veteran.
