ROSTER MOVES & TRANSACTIONS

Indians: Agreed to a two-year contract worth $5.5 million with RHP Josh Tomlin. The deal includes a club option for a third year. The contract can max out at $12 million if the option is picked up and Tomlin reaches all of the performance bonuses. (Cleveland Plain-Dealer)

Mets: Officially signed OF Yoenis Cespedes to a three-year contract, the team announced.

Nationals: Signed RHP Bronson Arroyo. Terms of the deal are unknown, but in all likelihood it's a minor-league contract. (Fox Sports)

Orioles: Acquired IF Efren Navarro from the Angels for cash, the team announced. OF L.J. Hoes was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Yankees: Signed C Carlos Corporan to a minor league contract. (SB Nation)

MLB: More pace-of-play rule changes may be on the way for 2016 ... Hoping to play regular season games in London in 2017.

IF/OF Lazaro Armenteros: Armenteros, a 16-year-old Cuban player, expects to have a deal in place within two weeks. The one they call Lazarito is said to have star-caliber tools, but is a long way from reaching the big leagues. (Fox Sports)

OF Alexei Bell: Bell's showcase for MLB clubs will take place in Mexico on Feb. 15. The 32-year-old Cuban veteran is hoping to land a major-league contract. (Sportsnet)

RHP Tommy Hunter: Hunter, a free agent, is still looking for a multiyear contract. (CSN Mid-Atlantic)

Brewers: Bringing back their glove logo for their alternate uniforms in 2016.

Marlins: Representatives for RHP Jose Fernandez believe he can receive upwards of $30 million when he becomes a free agent after the 2018 season. Clayton Kershaw, Max Scherzer, Zack Greinke, and David Price are aces with contracts worth $30 million-plus annually. (Miami Herald)

Mets: Still looking for bullpen help, but realistically they're only looking for depth relievers on minor-league contracts. (New York Post)

Nationals: Principal owner Ed Cohen said the team's unfavorable TV rights deal puts them at a competitive disadvantage.
