Cardinals first baseman Lance Berkman has been activated from the disabled list, and Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch tweets that Berkman will be in the lineup batting fifth against the Braves on Sunday.

To make room for Berkman on the 25-man roster, outfielder Shane Robinson has been optioned back to Triple-A Memphis.

Berkman hasn't played since April 18 because of a calf injury, but he's hitting a robust .348/.500/.522 on the season. Now Berkman's potent bat returns to an offense that's already leading the NL in runs scored.

Manager Mike Matheny's challenge now becomes finding regular ABs for the hard-hitting Allen Craig, who's been punishing the ball since returning from offseason knee surgery. Of course, as managerial dilemmas go, there are worse problems to have.
