Phillies' Dalier Hinojosa: Outrighted to Triple-A on Friday

Hinojosa was outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.

The 30-year-old pitched decently between the majors and minors in 2016, but there simply isn't room on the 40-man roster as the Phillies look toward the future with their younger pitching options. Hinojosa will likely act as organizational pitching depth for now, but he could be called upon during the season given his competency when facing major league hitters.
