Orioles' Ronald Guzman: Receives minors deal from Orioles

Guzman signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Thursday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

A former first baseman, Guzman converted to pitcher last year but wound up missing the season with a forearm injury. He returned to make a couple appearances in the Dominican Winter League, and the Orioles have elected to take a shot on the left-hander.
