Grube was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.
Grube's recent call-up to the bigs was short-lived as he was sent back down to Tacoma on Thursday. He did not make it into Wednesday's contest following his promotion and the Mariners have yet to announce a corresponding roster move.
