Stanford vs. Washington: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game

Game Recap

The Washington Huskies fell to the Stanford Cardinal 31-26 when the two teams previously met in December of last year; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Washington walked away with a 20-13 victory on Saturday.

No one had a standout game offensively for the Huskies, but QB Dylan Morris led the way with one touchdown. Washington also got a significant boost from RB Sean McGrew, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 114 yards.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed 12. K Peyton Henry delivered a perfect 4-for-4 game.

Stanford's only offensive touchdown came on a rush from QB Tanner McKee.

The win got Washington back to even at 4-4. The defeat dropped Stanford's record to 3-5.

The Huskies will square off against the Oregon Ducks at 7:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium. Oregon is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 52-29 win over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. The Cardinal have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome the Utah Utes at 10:30 p.m. ET Nov. 5 at Stanford Stadium.
