In Tuscaloosa, the writing is on the wall and it reads Jalen Hurts.

Hurts currently has the Alabama quarterback gig locked down, and as a result, other quarterbacks on the depth chart are looking for greener pastures elsewhere. Earlier this week, it was Cooper Bateman leaving Tuscaloosa, while former QB Blake Barnett announced he was heading to Arizona State. Now, those two will be followed out the door by David Cornwell.

Cornwell was a four-star member of Alabama's 2014 recruiting class, as he was ranked as the No. 4 pro-style quarterback in the country that year. He hasn't played in any games with Alabama over the last three seasons, and as a graduate transfer he'll have two years of eligibility remaining without having to sit out a season.

As for where he'll transfer, it's too early to tell, but the Oklahoma native had no shortage of offers out of high school. Odds are he won't have much trouble finding a landing spot.
